Position Purpose

The Change, Communication and Education (CCE) Advisor is responsible for helping to drive the change, communication and education activities within the APAC region to enable the successful delivery of key change and transformation efforts for Cargill’s Global Functions (e.g. HR, Finance, IT, Business Operations & Supply Chain). This position reports into the CCE Regional Lead and partners locally with the function and HR Leads in the region.

The CCE Advisor will:

- lead and execute on large scale functional transformation projects that span acorss the region, as well Global IT signature process and system related projects

- work on global deployments in which the global work stream for CCE is being lead from the APAC region.

Principal Accountabilities

Change, Communication & Education Planning and Execution 70%

  • Lead the design, development and execution of Integrated Change Plans for critical function transformation and IT signature projects, including leadership alignment and stakeholder management and all other change, communication and education activities.

  • Lead development of CCE capability building activities within regional leaders, managers and staff.

  • Provide Subject Matter expertise to project teams to ensure appropriate methodology, approaches, resourcing models and strategies are being utilized for CCE activities.

  • Manages vendors and contract change resources on projects.

  • Identify barriers and challenges for successful CCE work, determine alternatives and implement the preferred/approved recommendation.

  • Contain and resolve issues that do not require project sponsor involvement.

  • Reinforce project(s) direction and vision to resources.

  • Escalate risks and issues as appropriate.

  • Ensure that contingency plans minimize risk.

Consulting and Coaching20%

  • Coaches leaders and managers to build their change leadership and management capabilities as they lead their teams though change.

  • Consults as needed on various change initiatives being executed within the region.

Measurement and Evaluation 5%

  • Partners to develop and implement a change management measurement approach to assess effectiveness, progress and areas needing attention. (i.e. Makes use of metrics, such as leader’s commitment, communication effectiveness, etc).

  • Evaluate progress and performance execution against goals.

  • Review and escalate risks and issues as appropriate.

Education, Experience, Skills


  • Exceptional analytical and systems thinking skills

  • Very organised and disciplined, both in thinking and actions

  • Effectively manages conflicting priorities, multiple constituencies and fast-approaching deadlines in a highly matrixed environment.

  • Thrives in ambiguous, dynamic and uncertain environments.

  • Build relationships and credibility with all levels as a expert change leader and practitioner.

  • Strong project management and execution capacity.

  • Strong interpersonal understanding and communication skills.


  • Bachelor’s Degree, Masters Preferred in related field (organizational change, organizational

development and effectiveness).

  • Knowledgeable of and experience with using various change management models, tools and processes.

  • Advanced degree in Organization Design, Change Management, Organizational Psychology or related degree.


  • 10 years business change management and leadership experience (preferred experience in large global IT Function related organizational change management).

  • Proven experience and track record of success in managing small to large scale, transformational, complex change projects (preferably in the IT or support function arenas).

  • Experience and expertise in creating and executing change management project plans to drive leadership alignment and organizational behavior change.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration and influencing skills.

  • Experience working for a large multinational organization.

  • Strong problem solving and creative resolution mindset.

  • Brings a positive, high energy approach to leading through complex and sometimes difficult change efforts.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work with senior leaders and deliver results.

  • Business fluency in English.

  • Managing change in a cross-cultural/global environment.

  • Leading technological related changes.

Technical Skills

  • Demonstrated strong skills in the understanding of project .management principles; including planning, cost, quality, schedule, gated process and critical path management.

  • Proficient in MS Office (Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Proven ability to embrace and drive change in the organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive for results in a dynamic setting.
