This position is a part of the Corporate Environment, Health and Safety team. This position focuses on developing robust analytics and reporting processes for our EHS domains. Responsibilities focus on providing support across a a wide spectrum of activities largely focused on reporting and analyzing metrics, system and process optimization and communication. This position will provide direction and leadership in the areas of data quality, performance reporting, and data analysis thru the use of the Enablon applications to deliver and analyze high quality EHS data consistent with the specific requirements (e.g. Corporate EHS standards) and to identify and present data and leading indicators in a succinct manner to stakeholders. The EHS Information Specialist requires effective communication across all levels of the organization both verbally and in writing.

EHS subject matter expertise is required to recognize and identify trends, risks and concerns specific to the information from the various Enablon applications. Critical thinking, ability to work independently, self initiative, accuracy, attention to detail, stakeholder management and appropriate management of confidential information is essential to be successful in this role.

Primary Responsibilities

20% - Enablon Super User

  • Support the continued implementation of the Enablon software modules with the support of the Corporate EHS Enablon team. Deep understanding of Enablon application capabilities for data capture and analytics.

  • Review and Manage quality of the data entries into Enablon and identify concerns and trends potentially leading to poor data quality. Identify additional areas for data capturing that will improve measurement and analytics opportunities.

  • Develop/generate month-end reports for EHS Leaders inline with Corporate requirements

50% - EHS Information Specialist

  • Implement and maintain a EHS data management process that includes the identification and analysis of trends using data from Enablon applications. With limited oversight, analyzes and interprets EHS data and information gained through Enablon applications and analytical insights, and guides key stakeholders from multiple Businesses/Functions on how to use this data to make sound EHS improvement decisions.

  • Data Management and Analysis: collection, analysis, and maintenance of internal Enablon data; conduct and synthesize insightful data to support development of EHS metrics focused on risk mitigation to support identified leading and lagging indicators. Using EHS experience and critical thinking skills, conduct analytics to identify additional areas of risk mitigation opportunities. Manages EHS reporting systems, information and processes including all Enablon applications. Shares analysis via standard reporting outputs and through new methods identified by this person.

  • Identify appropriate external EHS data and metrics for comparison benchmarking to insure internal analysis and trending is creating value.

30 % Communication :

  • Develop and manage various materials to illustrate data reporting metrics and analysis findings to multiple audiences

  • Engage with EHS & Business leads for education and feedback on data analytics results including leading indicators and trends.


  • Bachelor’s degree andIndustrial Safety experience with at least 3 years of work experienceleading EHS functions, orIndustrial Safety experience with at least 6 years of work experienceleading EHS functions

  • Experience managing data systems and processes and analysis including system reporting (inputs and outputs)

  • Demonstrated capability to facilitate research internally and externally.

  • Strong quantative, analytical, and conceptual skills.

  • Ability to systhesize data to identify trends and findings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with data, database applications, and reporting (Enablon, Access, Alteryx, etc.);

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs Excel, Word, Access;

  • Professional certifications in Data Management

  • Previous experience in report development and analytical intelligence in a manufacturing environment
