Position Purpose:

The Finance Data Security Analyst is expected to support the RTR Data Manager to achieve the highest standards of information security within Finance. This role will establish, lead, govern and manage the Data Security Strategy for Finance and collaborate with other data management experts in the team to align with the overall Data Strategy for Finance.

1.Accountable for the build-out, leadership, governance, maintenance and seamless conduct of Finance Data Security Strategy (50%)

a.Support the detailed development and maintenance of the Finance Data Security Strategy, including the Data Security framework and its execution. This will be done in alignment with other relevant security strategies such as the overall Technology Governance and Risk Council’s Security strategy, Finance Control CoE data security policies and guidelines, Data and BI Security Strategy and Data Security Strategies of the various Business Units.

b.Identify and drive Finance data security related issues, tasks and agreed decisions for and by, the Data Stewardship Teams. Recommend and influence the security related meeting/topical agendas for the Data Council and Data Stewardship Teams.

c.Ensure data complies with both Cargill internal and external policies, codes of practice and agreed upon guidelines, in all matters related to security

d.Coaching fellow Finance team members on the subject of data security as necessary, sharing good data security management practices and highlighting short and long term impact of data security decisions.

e.Be aware of the bigger picture and understand the importance of Data Security management, including external drivers and standards

2.Lead the setup and management of Finance specific data security policies and procedures (20%)

a.Identify data security policies and procedures to be created for effective and efficient data security management.

b.Responsible for defining and maintaining data security related policies, presenting new policies or policy modifications to the relevant governance bodies for review and approval.

c.Responsible for implementation and governance of data security policies.

3.Advise and direct on the implementation of security models in finance projects in alignment with data security policies and procedures. Guide and direct the resolution of data security issues in finance projects (20%)

4.Promote the value of a data security management focused culture/mindset and monitor & communicate conformance with Finance data security policies (5%)

5.Miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as assigned (5%)


Minimum Required Qualifications

  • B.E. and/or MBA

  • 12 years of experience in Data Security Management in Transactional and Analytics ecosystems

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and demonstrated experiences communicating across diverse cultures, teams and regions

  • Ability, as exhibited from past experiences, to build and explain a robust data security management operating model and focused culture

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Data Security Management in multinational corporations with SAP and Analytics systems

  • Experience in Data security in SAP and Analytics environments

  • Formal degree or qualification in Data Security

  • Formal certification in Data Security Management
