Position Purpose & Summary:
To set vision for site EHS activities
To coordinate development and implementation of E/HS strategies to achieve the EHS objective of location.
To achieve compliance with requirements of Cargill and all applicable Laws.
To develop EHS best practices and provide guidance to the sites.
To ensure high standard of execution in all EHS activities.
50% Beijing plant on-site management:
-Ensure that the site's overall environmental Health & Safety performance is in compliance with legal, Cargill corporate requirements
-Hold regular communications to review EHS performance, communicates on the existing problems, and work out action plan for the next stage, ensure effectiveness and focus on continuous improvement;
-Organize and conduct safety observation tour to deliver I care message and discover potential EHS risk, report to management and follow up the findings till effective closure
-Be responsible for the implementation of site Emergency response plan.
-Work with government or relevant agencies to conduct monitoring and measurement as per legal or corporate requirements.
-Be responsible for accident reporting, investigation and corrective action; Follow up the corrective and preventive actions and ensure effective closure.
-Improve EHS awareness and safety culture through education and training programs and providing EHS leadership at Tianjin plant
-Conduct Environmental, Health and Safety audits and risk assessments
-Maintain and support a documented EHS management system
-Promote Cargill through involvement in community activities and professional organizations
50% Business EHS documentary management and coordination
-Develop an effective and co-ordinated EHS documentary process within CSST China.
-Coordinate the annual documentary review within CSST China.
-Draft and organize the team discussion and final the new documentary.
-Organize the translation and review of the procedures from the CSST AP.
-Prioritize and integrate existing documentary within CSST China.
Minimum Required Qualifications
4 years or above science or engineering degree plus 5 years EHS management experience relevant to industrial project or proven capability to work on this level.
