Position Overview:

This role will have purpose to ensure the accurate reception of customer orders and expand the role of customer service within the sales effort in the market from both a logistic and new sales of associated products and services. Yu will be working closely with the sales team. You will Take part in marketing campaigns, contacting customers and prospects, and working with farm consultants and sales managers to maintain our customer satisfaction success, along with our market share. You will also work with the plant production and logistic teams as to ensure that orders and deliveries are done in an efficient and timely manner.

The locations for this role can be in St-Romuald, St-Valérien or Drummondville.

Principal Accountabilities:

40% - Receiving feed orders from producers and accurately entering information into production software system.

40% - Regular phone contact with customers and prospects, advising them of new offers, coordinating logistics and sales calls for Farm Consultants, and participating in sales contests.

10% - Ensuring product formulations and feed safety measures are respected.

10% - Administering customer satisfaction surveys and occasional farm visits in person.



  • Minimum of a completed high school diploma.

  • 2 years of experience in an office environment.

  • A strong understanding of the agriculture industry.

  • Good proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

  • A genuine interest in sales.

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written in French and English.

  • Outstanding telephone communication skills.

  • Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada.


  • College Diploma (Preferred).

  • Agricultural courses or training.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment with tight timelines.

  • Highly organized, process and task oriented.

  • Some team leader/leadership skills are an asset.

  • Experience working independently and as part of a team.

  • Familiarity with SAP an asset.
