The Reliability Engineer position is responsible for the implementation and management of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA). This position will be focused on equipment reliability improvements along with other components of the proactive maintenance model that may be assigned as demanded by the needs of the facility. The Reliability Engineer will be a champion for the maintenance and reliability efforts. This position will have an integral role in developing and executing asset health improvement plans, defect detection and elimination.
35% Lead RCA and corrective action program.
30% Support and lead RCM activities including implementation and man
20% Provide process and technical support for the maintenance planners and coordinators.
15% Work with engineering and Original Equipment Managers (OEMs) to develop equipment and installation standards and any other duties as assigned.
B.A. in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Agricultural Engineering and or 5 or more years of relevant experience.
1 or more years of experience in production, maintenance, or project management.
Demonstrated ability of management of proactive maintenance model.
Demonstrated ability to identify and implement detailed solutions to complex technical problems involving multiple technologies.
Demonstrated strong leadership skills.
Willingness to challenge status quo.
Ability to adapt and learn in a changing work environment.
6 months or more Microsoft Office Suite experience.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in production, reliability, or project management.
Certified Maintenance Reliability Profession (CMRP) certification.
Knowledge of predictive technologies (vibration, infrared, ultrasound, machinery lubrication).
Experience with Starches and Sweeteners North America equipment and processes.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbal and written.
