Description

Dairy Sales Manager will provide sales on dedicated territory under BDM supervising. By closely working with local Dairy team, and with primary focus on selling value added products to the dairy operations, also servicing them in the areas of feed formulation/optimization, milk productivity and quality etc. Product supply includes a whole range of Cargill branded complete feeds, concentrates, base mixes, premixes, specialities and other products

60%Sales, developing and implementation of the Dairy Business Plan for dedicated geograthy for reason of business growth; Dairy SM must secure company sales planes; establish and maintain strong contacts with its customers, stakeholders, develop new prospects and channels, create correct communications between customers and company, expand customer database. Also SM must control A/R which created on its territory.

15%Market analysis. Dairy BDM needs to provide market analysis in follow area: milk pricies, competitor analysis, dairy market trends, grain, feed, ingredients supply and demand, local trends and forcasts, identify and develop new sales channels;

10% Reporting. Dairy SM must provide strict, timely and effective data reporting which connect with sales, shipments;

10% Learning and self developing. SM needs to constantly learn new approaches in feeding, technology, sales and implement this in daily operations; develop relationship with different team across the Cargill due to optimize business processes;

5 % Any other duties. Person on this position must discharge any other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements

In order to fit this position Dairy SM will spend at least 70% of working time in business trips and sometimes have irregular working hours

Qualifications

Education, Experience, Skills

Required Qualifications

High education;

Experience in Agricultural business or feed/commodities sales, min 2 years. Knowledge in: ruminants feeding, Dairy technology, diets formulating, marketing basis (marketing concept, fundamentals of marketing mgnt, ways and direction of market analysis); basic accounting and finance reporting; ability to work with claims, basis of psychology and sociology

Advanced PC user (MS Office); Personal skills: integrity, aimed at results, respect to others’ opinion, teamworker, ability to establish contacts, communication skills, ability to prioritize, conflict management skills, ability to work under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

  • High education in Agriculture, English (elementary level)

  • Experience in Dairy feed sales

  • Good knowledge of Dairy technology
