Compliancy to CAN Platform Credit Policy and Locations Credit Annex in the day-to-day activities (15%)

  • Ensure self compliancy to the policies in the day to day activities

  • Help to identify any elements of non-compliancy to the policies

  • Actively providing input to the credit manager in improving local processes or defining follow-up action plan to address such non-compliancy

  • Develop others in gaining understanding of the credit policies and processes – formal or informal basis

Credit decision making and management (40%)

  • Perform independent credit assessment on limit request

  • Approve credit exposure request within the delegated approval authority

  • Ensure proper documentation in place as required by the policy and or credit approval

  • Provided guidance to Commercial team for guarantee or collateral担保品 procedures

  • Work closely with Commercial Lead / Sales Managers for credit renewal / withdrawal / review effectiveness of credit support to customers

  • Ensure accurate and prompt update of customer credit information in the system and master file as per the credit approval

  • Actively work with the commercial team in debt repayment plan of overdue/bad debt customers

  • Perform customer visit to develop understanding of the market and business requirement and demonstrate such understanding in his/her credit decision

  • Work with commercial team and remaining Finance function to achieve local credit target

Credit Collection (20%)

  • Work with the CBS OTSC team and commercial team to ensure good collection practice as required in local credit annex

  • Work with legal team on bad debt recovery

  • Provide input in the level of bad-debt reserves to the locations controller based on his/her understanding of the customer

  • Improve and or establish collection process and or strategy to achieve overdue targets

Reporting & Monitoring (10%)

  • Work closely with CBS OTSC Team to ensure reporting is done on time and completely.

  • Provide in-depth analysis and ensure sufficient early warnings signs are given to the business when payment behaviors of customers is out of line.

  • Weekly credit meeting with the stakeholders of his/her designated portfolio to discuss credit issues and or future requirement

  • Provide timely alerts to the credit manager on key industry and or social economic events in the locations and give analysis on potential impact to the portfolio

Credit Solutions (10%)

  • Exploring availability of financing solutions in the market

  • Actively provide analysis to the business for potential solutions for customers

Project as required by the credit organization and the locations such as system and process roll-out (5%)


Minimum Required Qualifications

  • achelor Degree in Banking, Accounting or Finance

  • At leaset 5 years hands-on working experience in assessing customer credit risk – preferably in agriculture sector

  • Working knowledge in collection and dealing with bad-debt/bankrupt cases

  • Fluent english (spoken & written)

  • IT knowledgeable (expert excel user)

  • Good communicator

  • Analytical
