Position Purpose:

This position will be main point of contact for managers, employees and HR professionals requesting services related to position management or PDS creation. It will be responsible to coordinate and/or consult with other teams such as Compensation, Market HR, PDS specialists the completion of service requests, keep the clients informed about the progress of the requests and provide them a final resolution.

The main activities performed will be related to handling requests for creation of new positions, update of existing positions, duplication of positions, promotions and other activities related to position management.

Main Accountabilities:

Case management – 15%

Act as a single point of contact for the client regarding a request

Review daily all service requests assigned to them and update the necessary information

Inform the clients on a regular basis about the progress made on their requests;

Clarifies with the client the request assigned to them and take the appropriate actions to move the case towards resolution

Verifies the information provided by the clients using the systems available to them (Employee Central, Taleo)

Position management – 50 %

Collect the necessary information to create new positions working with the clients and where needed with other HR professionals

Complete the Foundational object forms required for creation of position IDs

Update where required the attributes of the positions

Set up of new positions

Save final PDS in repository

Consult the managers across the region and support them in building of a new PDS, under the guidance where needed of the PDS specialist

Employ general knowledge of the Global Job Catalogue (GJC), the GJC codes, cost centers and legal entities structure to complete the service requests

Understand and apply Cargill’s promotion practices and policies across the region and resolving various customer requests

Relationship management – 10%

Work directly with managers to review and provide consultation on PDSs. Gain trust through effective communication and listening skills.

Collaborate with various HR partners – Recruitment, Employee Experience, Compensation to verify different processes, information or fulfil a customer’s request

Compliance – 10%

Ensure appropriate governance is followed when creating a new position, updating an existing one or advising managers on promotions and other type of requests

Ensure managers understand subsequent steps in the process (mapping to the GJC/band) prior to posting.

Research, analyses, tools and systems – 10%

Have solid knowledge of Employee Central, Remedy Force, Taleo and other HR systems employed in the everyday work

Keep all Remedy Force service requests up to date

Create new job postings in Taleo upon manager’s request

Create/modify positions in My HR Info (EC); includes position changes after posting for regional positions

Participate in projects or initiatives to support related processes

Bachelor’s Degree

1 or 2 years of working experience in Customer Service for USA

1 or 2 years of working experience in Share Services

Advance English level (B2)


1 or 2 years of working experience in Human Resources.
