Description

Position Purpose

This position will be a member of the Regional Employee Relations Team with primary responsibility for the integrity and analysis of the data used in Employee Relations Compliance activities including Affirmative Action Programs, adverse impact analyses, EEO-1 and VETS-4212 reports, pay equity analysis, Office of Federal Contract Compliance Program (OFCCP) audits, and other compliance related data as appropriate. As an ER Data Spec, this position will troubleshoot system issues, identify data integrity issues and trends, evaluate data, compile reports, assist with OFCCP audits, and work with others to ensure correct data, if necessary.

Principal Accountabilities

45% - Extract, analyze, audit and verify data associated with various employee relations and compliance activities using People Soft and SuccessFactors/Employee Central data, Kronos, Taleo and local systems.

  • Develop, modify and maintain tracking tools and reports which identify trends relating to data and system issues.

  • Effectively summarize and communicate (orally and/or through PowerPoint presentation, Microsoft Excel and Word, e-mail or other tools) analytical data.

  • Collaborate with the appropriate HR,location teams and legal to initiate updates based on identification of issues.

  • Assist with OFCCP audits.

25% - Provide subject matter expertise for data-related aspects of Employee Relations projects.

15% - Serve as a resource within Cargill and with any external vendors for Affirmative Action and other Compliance related data

15% - Other duties as assigned:

  • Support data extracts and ad hoc reporting requests

  • Assist with OFCCP audits

  • any other duties as assigned

Relocation will not be provided for this position.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four year university in the disciplines of mathematics, computer science, finance, economics, business,Human Resources , or other related field

  • A minimum of one to 4 years professional experience working with data systems (for example, a Human Resource Management System)

  • Ability to travel up to 15%

  • Proficiency working with data systems to develop queries, pull relevant information, resolve data issues, and troubleshoot as necessary

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.

  • Analytical ability to identify trends and data errors.

  • Strong collaboration expertise with internal and external customers.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated track record in promoting an inclusive environment and seeking ways to integrate differences.

Preferred

  • Preferred background in statistical analysis

  • Preferred experience with OFCCP audit prep, AAP reporting, compensation analysis

  • Advanced PeopleSoft, SuccessFactors/Employee Central, Taleo, Kronos or other HRIS proficiency

  • Technical competence in affirmative action data

  • Experience in conducting statistical analyses such as adverse impact
