Description

This position will support the storeroom, production and maintenance organization through receiving materials, reconciliation of goods receipts, and transacting purchase requests within SAP.

This position interacts with production, operators, maintenance and other facility personnel on a regular basis.

Principal Accountabilities:

55% Perform receiving and reconciliation activities for all MRO within SAP to include, posting goods receipts, validation of correct part from purchase order, validation of accurate unit of measure, validation of accurate quantity, bar labeling of parts at receipt, managing and filing of packing slips, contacting requestor upon receipt of MRO item, communicating to storeroom lead MRO ready for inventory stocking, execute transactional codes to investigate/resolve all quantity, price blocks (MRBR / VL06I) and initiating remedy tickets when resolution is not achievable by this role due to accessibility. This position will be accountable and responsible for site blocks rendering non payment due to receiving issues.

30% Provide transactional data and develop purchase requests within SAP to request all Non-Work order related parts to include all blanket and capital MRO upon request from site when utilizing end user request form. Provide Proper: GL Account, service pack, determine accurate quantity/cost accounting and determine proper material master. This position will affirm purchasing for Non-Work order related items are purchased using developed contracts, catalogues, lastly free text.

5% Provide site blocked purchase requests and blocked purchase order list detailing what actions need to be completed in order to unblock or cancel item.

5% Provide shipping and returns within SAP as necessary.

5% Attend various safety and department meetings.

No relocation assistance is provided.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer.

  • Cargill requires that employees be a minimum of 18 years old.

  • Must be able to read/write English.

  • Must be able to perform physical job duties including bending/stooping, climbing ladders and pounding with hammer.

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds daily.

  • Ability to work in elevated areas.

  • Forklift certification.

  • Ability to work overtime.

  • Must be able and willing to work 8 hour shifts including nights, overtime, weekends, holidays, and additional hours beyond regularly scheduled shift for occasional emergency or planned outine maintenance.

  • Must have strong computer skills including software programs such as Microsoft Office.

Preferred:

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Able to prioritize tasks and follow up skills.

  • Knowledge of receiving within a capitalized inventory system.

  • Familiarity with computerized ERP systems ( SAP, Maximo, AS 400 etc.)

  • Familiarity of Purchasing within SAP, Maximo, AS 400 etc.

  • Knowledge of environmental compliance procedures, practices and regulations.

  • Knowledge of safe storage and handling of chemicals and maintenance supplies.
