Interfacing with aquaculture clients and prospective customers, helping them understand how Cargill Animal Nutrition can provide aqua feed solutions to increase the overall performance of the species farmed. Consultants will work with different aquaculture warm and cold-water aquaculture species.

Incumbent should be a results-driven, self-motivated, enthusiastic individual with good communication and organization skills, computer literacy, and a proven track record of achieving results without close supervision.

Principle Accountabilities:

30% Establish and build effective customer relationships

20% Work with customers to enhance the profitability of their business

20% Work closely with team members to solve complex customer issues

20% Work with other functions to guarantee product delivery on time and specs

10% Identify opportunities/prospects to create value for customers and Cargill


Required Qualifications

  • Undergraduate/Bachelor’s degree in Aquaculture or related/similar field.

  • Strong self-starter

  • Good analytical and conceptual skills

  • Strong desire to work in aquaculture sales

  • Demonstrated creativity and excellent communication skills

  • Good time management skills

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Professional attire required

  • Ability and willingness to travel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Sales experience

  • Experience in cold and warm water aquaculture species

  • Strong aquaculture technical knowledge

  • Experience in stock inventory management and warehousing

  • Good understanding of fish nutrition and feed formulations

  • Leadership skills
