Position Purpose & Summary:

Responsible for coordinating Risk Management and Sourcing (RMS) activities within Turkey and in support of operations in Egypt, including assisting RMS Lead Turkey with all RMS transaction processes, providing RMS support and

helping planning, managing supplier relationships, implementing global and local purchasing contracts.

Principal Accountabilities:

PURCHASING STRATEGY EXECUTION 25%

Assist RMS Lead with execution of Risk Management and Sourcing strategies and plans for feed ingredients, in line with CAN MEA goals, requirements and budgets. Contribute to developing and implementing tools needed to monitor and report ingredient market news, including supply/demand, price trends

PLANNING 25%

Liaise with SC, Operations and Manufacturing teams and with Global RMS as needed, to gather understand and process necessary information related to business needs for feed ingredients. Communicate these needs to global RMS or own RMS team, as appropriate.

REPORTING 20%

Consolidate data, create reports to monitor and communicate agreed RMS KPI’s. Assist with weekly business position reporting (WBPR)

CONTINIOUS IMPROVEMENT 20%

Help improve ways of working e.g. more efficient ways of handling data. Actively connect with RMS peers in other CAN MEA locations to share knowledge and improve the ways of working. Manage projects, including ingredient substitutions, new material approvals and connect with internal stakeholders, including local Supply Chain, FSQR, Formulation teams

MONITORING 10%

Monitor Suppliers performance on Service and Quality according to requirements. Monitor RMS Processes and Policies application and recommend improvements.

Qualifications

University degree

Some background in Procurement, Risk management and Sourcing, or Supply Chain

Good communication skills

Proficient in English - must

Basic understanding of Animal Nutrition industry – preferred

Good at Ms Office (good Excel as a must)

Eager to learn, self-starter

Ready to travel
