Job location: Mechelen, Belgium

Major Tasks

  • Deliver customer & market insight to drive customer focus in the organization and serve customers by collaborating with sales, marketing and R&D functions across Groups/Businesses and regions in support of our growth plans with the strategic key accounts of Cargill & FIBI (Food Ingredients Bio-Industrial) EMEA, Enterprise Customers (EC).

  • Identify, develop and deliver commercial insights that resonate with Cargill’s customers and relate back to Cargill’s food ingredient portfolio

Enterprise Customer Marketing Lead:

  • Lead Customer & market analysis and bring insights to the team to make strategic decisions and drive growth

  • Collaborate with Enterprise Customer leaders and their teams to define goals and execute plans, coach the teams for efficiently implementing the broad Commercial Excellence (CE) toolbox (Customer Development Plan, Customer Engagement Survey, Marketing Academy, …)

  • Collaborate with R&D on customer innovation days, LT technology strategy and support them to drive innovation pipeline development

  • Support implementation of the Success Map for the customer teams

Project Management:

  • Lead projects developed specifically for our EC customers.

  • Support the CE Leadership Team to roll out initiatives/ projects in the CE teams (ex. Salesforce.com, customer engagement survey, …)

Market / Category work:

  • Collaborate with Cargill stakeholders (e.g. Sales, marketing and technical managers, Marketing Research and Marketing Communications) to develop market insights and deliver them directly and indirectly to Cargill customers

  • Lead and champion category work from FIBI perspective.

Qualifications

  • University degree in marketing, or general business

  • 5 years of commercial and sales experience, with 3 years relevant strategic marketing / project management

  • Experience in the food ingredients industry with excellent track record is preferred

  • Knowledge of food and beverage markets served by FIBI, the role of our ingredients in those markets and our product portfolio is an added value

  • Affinity to working with numbers
