A new and exciting opportunity has recently become available for you to join our APAC Malt Supply Chain team as a Customer Service and Logistics Coordinator. Reporting to the Sales Outbound Logistics Supervisor, you will be a customer service and logistics guru whom will strive to meet your customer’s requirements. You will also play an active role in contract management, sales order processing and transportation logistics to ensure we deliver Malt to our customers in full, in quality and on time.
You will be the first point of contact for our domestic customer base and poses strong communication skills, both verbal and written. You will play an integral role to ensure our customers are supported with superior care thought out their dealing with Cargill. You will be a natural when it comes to resolving customer escalations and pride yourself in delivering a world class customer experience.
All about you
We are looking for an energetic and customer focused individual with a logistics background who possesses the follow:
A strong track record of success in an export or domestic customer service / logistics related role, while applying principles of customer service excellence
Understanding of export shipping including documentation
Demonstrated ability to effectively resolve customer issues/complaints.
Leadership skills which we value highly, as we preparing for a takeover of managing a team of 4 in 12 to 24 months
Clear communication skills are vital.
In-depth knowledge and understanding of logistics processes and customer service
Familiar with applications such as SAP, BSM, LIMS etc.
Ability “to read” the customer, being attentive to customer needs, calming
Knowledge of the product and customer processes
Ability to use positive language
Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
Excellent time management and follow up skills
Superior attention to detail
Have a goal orientated focus
Ability to deal with surprises, persuasive
