Seeking an energetic and passionate candidate to perform administrative duties for one or more mid-level manager and department professionals. Ideal candidate should be knowledgeable of company policies and procedures. May make contacts with individuals both inside and outside the company, relaying information that is sensitive or confidential. Operates under minimal supervision. As part of this team you will assist with logistics, production scheduling/output, quality, food safety, employee engagement, teamwork and coaching, you have the opportunity to shape the brand image and perception of the business. Responsibilities will include employee training, managing costs, and support of management team. You will also coordinate with merchants to ensure a seamless flow of ingredients and maximize the efficiency of the operation.
20% Maintain a system that evaluates process improvement sheets and model reports daily for accuracy and changes in trends, and act on any adverse trends or lack of accuracy.
20% Maintain a system that tracks and evaluates warehouse inventories for customer needs. Accurately inventory and evaluate inventories on a monthly basis for costs and accuracies of inventory.
20% Educate team members to perform their jobs safely and to accept responsibility for their own safety performance through maintaining location safety program, tracking and reporting.
20% Effectively prepare weekly payroll and expense reports vs. budget; following policies and procedures, resolve inquiries as required – Identify cost reduction activities
10% Maintain a system that sets standards on each delivery through established OTIF program and provide team with improvement opportunities.
10% Utilize a tool (activity schedule) to help manage and execute the numerous requirements for which you are accountable.
o Assist in coordinating the logistics for the shipping and receiving of 7,000 tons of animal feed monthly.
o Assist the team with various food safety tasks
o Assist with site communications
o Daily paperwork review
o Truck load order review
o Share reception duties
High School Diploma OR equivalent
Minimum 5 years office experience in a fast paced office environment
Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Strong math skills and minimum general accounting knowledge
Proven written and verbal communication skills and a solid work ethic Ability to create an environment conducive to teamwork; strong interpersonal skills.
