The Master Data Administrator is responsible for the creation of articles and system parameters in different ERP/MES systems and databases, guarding data consistency, correctness and completeness. He/she will work independently on small project regarding master data updates and conversions and will support the Master Data Lead on bigger projects. He/she will also update the Master Data process documentation and look for improvements in the processes.

Major Tasks

30% - Article creation in MES (Interspec/Production system)

  • Creation of solid items: defining the code to use, the bill of material, the description and solid definition (Octopus)

  • Support Technical Service Specialist in creation of liquid recipes where no recipe (BOM) change are needed, define the correct code and the descriptions, fill in the product properties (Claims,…)

  • Regularly check the data on errors and incompatibility.

30% Article creation in ERP (A-force)

  • Creation of solid items: making sure all financial codes, reporting codes and standard MRP setup is correct for the different factories

  • Creation of liquid items: making sure all financial codes, reporting codes and standard MRP setup is correct for the different factories

  • Cleanup of the system and put items on obsolete were needed and discuss with contract management if actions are needed on contract.

20% IRF (item request from)

  • Maintain the document for sales so that they are able to send requests for new items. Propose new if relevant or more efficient

  • Make a three monthly cleanup of the document by discussing the feasibilities with the different production sites

10% Projects

  • Take the lead in some smaller master data projects

  • Support the Master Data Lead in bigger projects

10% Reporting and other system administration

  • Support in supply chain to execute some weekly/monthly reports

  • Guarding the content/parameters of various supporting systems like Unidoc and item notes is up to date.


  • Bachelor level

  • Minimum 2 years experiences is an asset

  • Fluent in English, 2nd language is a plus (Dutch, French, German)

  • Good analytical skill

  • Process oriented mind set

  • Proactive

  • Accurate, critical on data consistency

  • Good communication and documentation skills

  • Affinity with operational and supply chain process

  • Sense of responsibility
