As part of the local FSQR team, the FSQR officer is responsible for complaint management process including the management and coordination of individual customer complaints received via product delivery or audits, supporting the organization on root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions on the key drivers for product complaints as well as general follow up on the complaint management and CAPA program effectiveness and continuous improvement.
In addition, the FSQR officer is responsible for the effective implementation of the elements of the Food Safety Management program, consistent with the Cargill standards and in alignment with customer and industry requirements. He is the coordinator of the HACCP team (Food Safety) and potentially the team leader.
60% Food Safety and Quality
Responsible for the complaint management process, including investigation (RCA), development of the action plan and communication with customers.
Key contact during the customers, third parties (eg: FSSC 22000), and governmental audits, including follow up of the action plan.
Accountable for maintaining and coordinating the day to day HACCP (Food Safety) Team and related initiatives; resulting in effective food safety management programs in line with Regulatory, Corporate Food Safety and FSQR certification requirements.
30% Continuous improvement
Follow up of site performance, data analysis and reporting on key drivers for complaints. Working closely together with the factory team and other functions on identification of potential root causes for the main bad actors and development an follow up of the Corrective and preventive Actions (CAPA) identified.
Responsible for the continuous improvement of of the local complaint and the local CAPA management process.
Preparing of the monthly, quarterly and annual customer quality performance metrics, scorecards and documentation to be used during quality review meetings with key customers.
Subject Matter Expert (SME) on CAPA process and methodology like 5 Why analysis, Ishikawa diagrams, etc…
Driving the trending and analysis of the results and outputs of Food Safety Team and HACCP performance and identify the areas for further improvement or for removing non-value added activities.

- Back up role in the local FSQR team of Mouscron
Master in food science biochemistry or microbiological science or equal scientific education in combination with relevant experience in food industry for several years
Ideally min. 3-5 years in food industry
Good knowledge and experience of HACCP, FSSC 22000
Basic knowledge of food safety legislation
Fluent in English, French and Dutch. Other languages (German…) are a plus
Experience with problem solving techniques and continuous improvement
Experience in food safety training communication
Experience in Auditing techniques
