Position Purpose:

Cargill Business Services (CBS) is a global organization that envisages the accelerated use of shared services. Its purpose is to bring a smarter, more efficient approach to how we provide shared services to Cargill. That way businesses and functions can focus on what they do best. Five functions are in scope - HR, IT, Finance, Transportation & Logistics and Strategic Sourcing & Procurement. These services will be delivered in six Centers based in Bangalore (India), Sofia (Bulgaria), Nanjing (China), San Jose (Costa Rica), Uberlandia (Brazil) and Rosario (Argentina).

This position will be responsible for driving the performance measurement, analysis, and reporting within the CBS Center to drive productivity, cost efficiency and quality improvement. The Service Performance Analyst will support Center wide data collection, analysis and reporting of service performance metrics, dashboards and data analytics required for day to day operations. This position will spot areas for improvement and work with stakeholders to develop solutions. In conjunction with the CBS Performance Manager and Function Performance Managers, this position is responsible for building a Performance Management culture within the CBS Center.

Principal Accountabilities:

45% Responsible for compiling, ensuring accuracy and reporting metrics

  • Center and Leadership scorecards

  • Operational Performance scorecards

  • Leading, lagging, and service level agreement metrics

45% Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement

  • Ensure identified opportunities are tracked according to the continuous improvement process

  • Identify root causes, trends and issues

  • Report results

  • Follow-up on actions identified to ensure completion

10% Other duties as assigned

  • Provide support for continuous improvement projects

  • Provide data extracts and ad hoc reporting requests

  • Track project related compliance

  • Support other center initiatives as needed

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in business, finance, statistics, math, or related discipline

  • 5 - 7 years relevant work experience in performance metrics and data analytics

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; communicates effectively to all levels of the organization

  • Strong track record of delivering complex work on time

  • Experience working in a virtual, global environment

  • Ability to manage time, balance multiple tasks and constantly work with changing priorities

  • Experience in a start-up environment with considerable ambiguity

  • Proactive self-starter with demonstrated ability to work independently

  • Ability to give and receive feedback in a timely, constructive, and transparent manner

  • Strong numerical abilities

  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends and data errors

  • Ability to present data effectively in a variety of formats

  • Proficiency in conducting data modeling analysis with software applications supporting business intelligence and data analytics

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal, teamwork and networking skills

  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize new reporting systems and tools

  • Ability to travel occasionally, including internationally

  • Fluent in English, other languages a plus
