Operations/ER Specialist-on/off boarding & benefits

Position Purpose

This position will utilizes some HR Services/Operations knowledge to administer more complex processes related to the delivery of HR Services/Operations services. Responsibilities require guiding/reviewing/performing HR Services/Operations activities, including On-boarding/Exit Process, Employee Data Management and Benefit Administration within CBS of Nanjing and are completed under limited supervision.


GHRS Operations/Employee Relationship

1)30% Employee On-boarding/transfer/exit processes management

-Manage the on-boarding/transfer/exit procedure for new hire/transfer in or out/termination employees

-Exit survey

2)15% Employee data management support

-Provide new hires’ data to OMPA system and update the employee’s PA data as needed.

-Set up the P-file and update the P-file as needed

-Labor contract signed, including the new hires/transfer in or out/renewal working toghther with the labor contract administrator

-Personal change support/memo/file management

-Maintain local employee list, and maintain/provide the personal info. of Group 2 (intern new hires/exit, retiree rehires/terminates) and third party.

3)40% Benefit Administration

-Social benefit, housing fund enrollment/termination/administration

-Guild the Hukou/Dang’an transfer and retirement

-GM for Expat/LHF work permit/residence permit application & renewal

-Commercial Inusrance Claim support and the new birth enrollment support.

-Provide benefits communication support and set up/refresh the related Employee Guildance

-Work with FESCO for some special cases

4)15% ER and other Support

-Employee relationship management

-China Personnel Change Announcement

-Government audit, employment certificate, etc.

-HR coordinator

-Other job or small projects assigned


Education (includes formal education, certifications, accreditations, etc)

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma, in any discipline


Required Qualifications

  • At least 3 years experience of HR operations/ER

  • Knowledge of social benefit

  • Konwledge of basic labor law and regulations

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in both Mandarin & English

  • Strong ability and capability to learn new processes / methodologies

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to travel occasionally
