Description

Position Purpose

Responsible for coordination of routine procurement activities for one or more locations within a single business with less complex procurement requirements, including executing procurement transaction processes and inventory/procurement records, providing location procurement support and planning, managing supplier events and relationships, and implementing sourcing strategies

Principal Accountabilities

  • With the supervision of Procurement Lead, initiate and deploy a sourcing for tactical categories across BUs.

  • Facilitate implementation and execution of business category strategies across BUs.

  • With the guide of Procurement Lead to execute category strategies with the team for those categories aligned with "local" sourcing responsibility

  • Manage designated supplier relationships

  • Follow-up and assure completion of action items and gap closure.

  • Follow-up and ensure the completion of sites enquiry as per SLAs.

  • Follow-up on delivery and custom is required (coordinated closely with logistic team).

  • Review and optimized systems, SAP, EA, KPI and others BI report.

  • Ensure that all data entry work is properly screened for completeness and accuracy prior to entry.

  • Analyze Category spend, determine category requirements and develop category strategy.

  • To identify market data/trends, hypothesis and make project recommendations.

  • Audit all activities/projects summaries for accuracy and proper methodology for calculating spent Vs savings.

  • Ensure supplier commitment as per contracts and POs.

  • Ensure the compliance with SOP especially tax, special permit, government regulation, GP, FCPA and etc.

  • Ensure collaboration with sourcing team.

  • Travel to plant to collect data if required

  • Ensure the service contract validity, and communicated to sites for any renewal required.

  • Prepare tabulations for bidding process and send out to approvers.

  • Ensure final negotiation for every enquiry as per total target

  • Liaise category sourcing team and communicated effectively with regional sourcing team, sites, suppliers.

  • Ensure and validity of new supplier as per SOP.

  • Support other team and sharing knowledge for maximum result

  • Maintain good coordination, communication, and relationship with sites, other departs and vendors.

  • Fully understand the contract term and condition (as per Cargill standards and implement proper document management system.

Education, Experience, Skills

  • Bachelor degree in business, engineering/ supply chain/ procurement/ otherrelated program

  • 3 year’s business experience, with minimum of 3 years of relevantexperience to the position.

  • Strong interpersonal skills & ability to:

  • Engage, communicate & influence senior stakeholders (internal & external)

  • Establish trust & credibility with internal stakeholder and other functional stakeholder

  • With category experience and general supply chain background

  • Computer literate especially in knowledge of MS office application which is Word, Power Point and Excel (V-look-up, pivot tables); written and verbal communication; and strong analytical skills.

  • Experience with SAP, JDE or any BI report is preferred.

  • Project management experience

  • Demonstrated ability to work with suppliers and drive mutually beneficial solutions
