Position Purpose & Summary:

The Change, Communication and Education (CCE) Consultant is responsible for leading CCE activities around leadership alignment, change management planning, communication, resource planning, determining organizational alignment needs, and initial training for large-scale global change initiatives. This position utilizes common CCE methodologies and processes to define the approach, execution of tasks and management of internal and 3rd party CCE resources assigned to the project. This individual works in partnership with the project lead and sponsor to ensure CCE needs are scoped properly at the beginning of the project lifecycle and key CCE requirements, risks and budgets are incorporated into project plans.

Principal Accountabilities:

CCE Leadership and Planning

  • Lead the design, development and execution of integrated change strategy and plans for large-scale global or regional change initiatives

  • Partner with project leadership and business or function sponsors to ensure alignment and demonstrate commitment for the change

  • Develop an effective global CCE project resourcing structure leveraging internal FTE, offshore and 3rd party resources, as needed

  • Identify barriers and challenges for successful CCE work, determine alternatives and implement the preferred/approved recommendation

  • Determine scope and lead organizational alignment efforts

  • Build CCE capability within the businesses and functions being impacted

  • Reinforce project direction and vision to resources

  • Resolve issues that do not require CCE Manager or Project Sponsor involvement.

CCE Project Execution

  • Conduct stakeholder analysis and develop stakeholder plans to further understanding, commitment and advocacy

  • Translate the needs of leaders and key stakeholders into leadership alignment and stakeholder engagement activities

  • Measure organizational readiness and change progression of project and stakeholders

  • Capture change impacts and determine change actions to mitigate risk to the business or function

  • Identify barriers and challenges to successful change and suggest solutions

  • Identify communication needs of stakeholder groups develop plan

  • Coordinate, develop and execute key messaging and communications content

  • Responsible for risk management, status reporting, quality of deliverables and budgetary compliance

  • Evaluate progress and performance execution against goals

  • Review and escalate risks and issues as appropriate

Project Control

  • Regularly measure and monitor project progress for all CCE activities to identify variances from the plan and make any needed corrections. Contain and resolve issues within the project that do not require sponsor attention.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, OD, Organizational Psychology or related field, or equivalent experience

  • 8 years business experience

  • 5 years experience in leading large-scale change projects

  • Experience creating and executing plans to drive behavior change

  • Excellent communication skills , with ability to frame change message and facilitate discussion

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work with senior leaders and deliver results

  • Proven ability to influence at all levels within an organization without direct authority

  • Demonstrated ability to be successful in ambiguous environments

  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships

  • Strong project management skill/experience required

  • Good understanding of project processes; planning, schedule, deliverable review, status reporting, gate review processes, etc.

  • Business fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced education in change management or business related field (MBA, OD, Organizational Psychology or related field)

  • Experience in leading or supporting technology change implementations

  • Working in an IT organization.
