The primary purpose will be to manage all sales related functions, which includes:
-managing Chinese customers,
-handling logistic, documentation, credit, and payment issues,
-coordinating and communicating with Various CAPS BUs,
-marketing coordination with end users(retail or foodservice), customers and various associations(MLA/USMEF/CBI.)
(1)To coordinate with various CAPS Businesses(Teys JV, NA Beef, Turkey etc) and external customers regarding the following issues:
(2)To coordinate among Greater China Teams so as to generate reports and PPT – for BU/Platform and other senior leaders.
(3)To plan & execute marketing activities in China region, such as promotions at retail/Foodservice, food show, exhibition and USMEF/CAN beef/MLA events.
(4)To plan & coordinate CAPS visitor’s trip to GC region.
(5)To analyze data and info from reports such as Piers, USDA report, HK, Taiwan and China import statistcs, MLA report, N.A. meat reports and etc.
Essential Position Requirements:
Will need to visit slaughtering plants where there will be killing of animals and an abundance of blood.
Will need to make overseas business trips to countries such as USA, Canada, Australia, Korea, Japan, etc. and China domestic cities & counties.
Will need to go for product inspection in less than desirable condition such as wholesale mkt, cold storage and/or slaughter plants in China.
Education, Experience, Skills:
University graduate or equivalent
Master graduate or equivalent
0-3 years working experiences in Sales & Marketing is preferable
Strong in English and Mandarin (verbal & written)
Strong computer skills, esp. on Microsoft Outlook, Power Point, Excel, Word and etc.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with both Chinese customers and Westerners such as fellow team members in Australia and America.
Good and effective reporting skills & analytical mind
PREFERRED Education, Experience,Skills:
Sales, Marketing or Business education will be preferred, but not necessary.
Sales and marketing experience will be preferred but not necessary.
Meat industry experience will be preferred but not necessary.

(1)Once he/she has consistently exceeded expectation of the current role, he/she will be promoted to account manager, whereby multiple accounts to be managed solely by the account mgr and he/she will be expected to grow those accounts.
(2)And, if the account mgr has consistently exceeded expectation, he/she may have the following career path to consider:
-Sales mgr whereby he/she will be given a certain region in China that he/she will be responsible for.
-Marketing mgr whereby he/she will be responsible for all marketing activities.
(3) If the sales mgr and marketing mgr consistently exceeded expectation, then he/she will be considered for the Sales Manager of a bigger region in China.
