Assisting in the process of determining AR/MTM/Stressing/Volume & tenor limits by originating the necessary WLAs as well as make sure the approved limits are appropriately transferred to the different business systems.
Financials need to be obtained either through Mendix (Cargill tool fed with D&B financials for our customers) or other system sources (local chamber of commerce sites for example), and perform financial analysis providing advice on the customer’s credit worthiness in relation to the business requirements.
A broad knowledge of the different systems in use by Counterparty risk (Counterparty Risk data base – CR Web - Web based Limit Approval system – WLA, Mendix) as well as the business (JDE, A-Force, SAP and other systems) is needed to perform this role.
The analyst role will be starting the daily Hold & Release process by gathering necessary information from the different systems, make sure to have up to date information from cash collections as well as provide a status update on the limit requirement.
The appropriate approvals will then be collected before actual system release can take place.
The analyst will perform regular data integrity checks to make sure the approved limits are correctly reflected in the business systems. Any corrections needed, can be made following this data integrity check. A data integrity report needs to be issued to the relevant BU Counterparty Risk Leads.
The analyst will perform a first review on received alerts providing customer information (last approved limit, ageing status, Mendix risk profile, any other high risk elements) for the local FSS analyst to review and either close the alert as not significant or take further action.
The analyst will track validity of existing risk mitigation and trigger the review of risk mitigation close to the expiry date.
The analyst will assist the BU Counterparty risk leads in the preparation of month-end reporting as well as ad hoc reports.
