The Counterparty Risk (CPR) Supervisor will be focused on leading and managing the CBS Counterparty Risk Team, consisting of Counterparty Risk Analysts (CRAs) and Team Leads (CPRTLs), as well as OTSC Systems & Reporting Analysts and Team Leads (SRTLs). The maximum advisable span of control of the CPR Supervisor will be 20 people.
The CPR Supervisor will be responsible for setting the team’s priorities and goals, as well as evaluating and (re)distributing the workload amongst analysts and team leads. He/she will be accountable for the team’s meeting its KPI and SLA targets and performing the required activities as set out by the Finance Services Catalogue. Thus, he/she will also be assuring compliance to the OTSC Silver Processes.
The CPR Supervisor will be expected to monitor individuals’ performance closely, be able to support the team operationally, and construct training/ development/ promotion plans for team members, according to their performance and potential. Thus, the CPR Supervisor will be responsible for maximizing the team’s potential, by assigning tasks and projects in accordance to individual team members’ capabilities and talents.
A significant aspect of the role will also be coordinating with both the Counterparty Risk team outside of the CBS center (the Counterparty Risk Leads (CRL) group) and the leadership of the CBS center in Sofia. The CPR Supervisor will be expected to align the priorities of the two structures.
The CPR Supervisor needs to ensure continuous improvement of processes and systems, and coordinate projects in that area both with the CBS CPR team and the CRL group.
The CPR Supervisor will also organize and oversee the ongoing migrations and transitions, focusing on change management, ensuring the right resources are in place, and (re)distributing individuals’ workload accordingly.
Master degree in economics, finance, math or equal through experience and professional qualifications (CFA, ACCA, etc.)
Three to five years relevant experience in a risk environment
In-depth understanding of counterparty risk related concepts
Experience in managing a team of 5 members
Three years of experience in a multinational and complex environment
Experience with transformations, process improvement and change projects
Fluent English (spoken & written)
People management experience
High level communication skills
Good project management skills
