Description

The HR Service Desk Supervisor is responsible for quality and timely support provided by the HR Service Desk Team to EMEA countries (employees, managers, in-country HR Teams) in the areas of HR administration such as Employee Relations processes (hiring, contractual changes, terminations,) employee inquiries, payroll, time and attendance, learning and development etc.

The role also is responsible for expanding the geographical scope of the services as well as continuous improvement and efficiency goals, using KPIs and measurement to monitor service and client satisfaction.

Team / people management

  • Plan, organize, and control the operations and work activities of the team.

  • Supervise the employees, including their ongoing performance, adequate coverage for all services and countries receiving support.

  • Provide operational guidelines and direction to the direct reports.

  • Employee selection, onboarding, managing performance, goal setting, leading, coaching and developing the team.

  • Provide a role model for team members and coach and develop individuals to ensure they reach their maximum potential.

Operations management

  • Closely monitor performance metrics, using the technology and tools, to ensure quality service and timely actions.

  • Ensure that operational metrics and KPIs are met by the team.

  • Responsible for the quality of the services delivered by the team.

  • Ensure that process documentation and working instructions are kept up to date always and reviewed on a regular basis.

  • Define processes and procedures in compliance with policies, legal requirements of all stakeholders, corporate and country specific laws.

  • Continuous improvement: Identify and lead process improvement initiatives to increase the efficiency and/or quality of services provided to the clients.

HR Migrations Management

  • Actively participate in expanding geographical scope of Service Desk in partnership with HR Migrations Lead: defining opportunities, needs, roles and responsibilities, work schedules of the team members, etc.

  • Responsible for the receiving site readiness in migrations (resources in place, onboarded and trained to be able to perform the knowledge transfer and start service delivery later).

  • Identify, together with the HR Migrations Lead and the GHRS Lead opportunities for expanding the scope of services delivered, in alignment with HR Service catalogue.

  • Partner with the market teams to ensure the work moving into CBS is well documented and the teams are trained prior to go live.

Qualifications

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • University degree

  • 5 years of professional experience

  • Demonstrated successful leadership experience including effective development, coaching, mentoring and managing a team

  • Experience in shared service environment

  • Working knowledge of HR Process

  • Written and verbal fluency in English

  • Fluent level of French will be considered as a big advantage

  • Strong people management, networking and collaborations skills with demonstrated success in change implementation

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, can easily understand and operate business processes

  • Effective communication and influencing skills

  • Proven ability to drive discipline and process orientation in a complex organization

  • Comfort dealing with ambiguity

  • Strong drive for results with practical, result/outcome focus

  • Time Management – demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, and follow through on commitments

  • Business partnering, stakeholder management and customer orientation
