As a member of the Engineering Team of Cargill-Joy, the Store Clerk interacts with internal customers and external suppliers and vendors to ensure smooth operations of the entire storeroom. The Store Clerk is responsible in receiving deliveries from suppliers and issuance of spare parts / factory supplies to internal customer. The Store Clerk conducts daily, weekly, monthly and year end inventory cycle count. The Store Clerk ensures inventory accuracy at all time. This role will also assist Store Supervisor in maintaining the entire storeroom and have a basic understanding of

the business practices and procedures to manage, organize and coordinate processes for procurement of materials, services, capital expenditures and supplies.


Storeroom Function and support

  • Ensure actual and system inventory 100% accuracy at all times.

  • Checks and verifies order of end user before requesting PR/PO and rush orders to Store Supervisor.

  • Ensure that all materials needed for the scheduled Preventive Maintenance are at the storeroom and ready for used by assisting Store Supervisor through Job Kitting.

  • Follows established procedures in receiving spare parts, consumables and contracted services deliveries.

  • Apply understanding of procurement best practices and procedures to advise plant staff on compliance.

  • Responds to requests for information (purchasing data, status of procurement activities) from plant staff

  • Responsible in issuance of job ticket / request for maintenance & repairs from plant maintenance.

Support Maintenance and Storeroom activates as assigned.

  • Projects related to work order, materials, inventory, equipment records, BOMs, returns, master data,etc.

  • Responsible in documentation

  • Gathering and reporting general internal spend data to Store Supervisor.

  • Projects related to 5’s in maintaining storeroom.



  • 2 years vocational / technical course or equivalent

  • With background in storeroom operation

  • Basic knowledge in computers, MS Office, specifically in Word and Excel

  • Works well in a team or individual environment

  • Demonstrated ability to drive tasks to completion with desired results

  • Ability to work cross functionally across all levels of the organization

  • Ability to work independently
