Ensure attainment of market share objectives in sales area
Continuously monitors market and competition to determine product needs (pricing, new products, services, etc.) and communicate this information to ensure competitive advantage of company.
Plan and prepare programs based on available info to attain objectives, monthly sales volume, merchandising.
Build the image of Purina as a customer-centered supplier, which provides added-value service to its customer.
Sales Database Management
- Management information database system to ensure availability of timely, accurate sales volume and merchandising.
Organize, develop and lead assigned and identifies project teams towards completion of objectives within the given period.
Ability to plan and control the supply and inventories of finished products.
Promo, checking and approval up to Ps 150/mt
Employee Engagement and Development
Develop and implement training programs for sales staff, dealers and customers.
Manage performance of direct reports by ensuring functional objectives to support business unit goals
Model and encourage the use of effective performance management techniques to drive increase performance and rewards)
Model and ensure legal and ethical behaviors of all employees.
Adherence on policies on GMP’s and SOP’s under the food safety program.
Safeguard and update documents for all job related activities
Ensuring housekeeping of working area is observed.
Other Administrative Functions
- Accomplishes all necessary reports as required
Essential Position Requirements
Possess a balance of commercial leadership, technical skills, and general business acumen to identify opportunities for optimizing our customers’ production results.
Own strong working knowledge in animal nutrition in the swine and poultry production industry in the Philippines, including a deep understanding of producer economics and industry trends.
Possess and continuously develops solid knowledge of the customer business strategy, requirements/needs and competitor offerings.
Develops extensive industry knowledge across a broad and/or specialized spectrum of products / services / segments / channels as well as direct competitor’s offerings.
Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and/or Animal Production or Animal Health
Knowledge of Animal Science and Practical Animal husbandry
3-5 years of progressive external sales and business development with a good track record and experience in the Industry
Proven leader with strong analytical and conceptual skills
Robust sales experience in a multinational or leading regional animal nutrition / animal health company
Strong understanding of Key Account Management, including good prospecting and closing skills
Strong communication skills; fluent English skills are required
Familiar with important business disciplines (i.e. finance, marketing, supply chain)
