The regional PMO represents the Portfolio and Project Management capabilities within each regional global IT delivery organization, it also provides an effective and efficient project delivery service to enable business strategy execution.
The Program Manager will manage data and technology programs including projects with high cost and risk, including program leadership, program planning, program execution, program control, and business results. Candidates for this position are expected to experience managing programs with a minimum of $ 5-15million - total spend.

The program manager role is an empowered leader who must drive results, proactively identify and resolve problems. The Program Manager has the primary responsibility to ensure that the program produces the desired business benefits and value, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost. This role demands someone who can partner effectively with all levels of the organization. The Program Manager is accountable with the Project Managers for the program schedule results and leading and assisting other Project Managers on larger projects as needed.
The Program Manager will manage the projects work plan (tasks, milestones, & dependencies) and resource needs within and across teams. Communicate and coach process teams on the usage of PMO processes and tools. Identify and qualify project risks, issues and scope changes and assist in their tracking using PMO tools and defined processes.
Additional accountabilities include:
Ensuring continuous improvement and communication of PMO practices, process and tools across Solution Delivery
Monitoring for results and execution against work plans
Establish, maintain, enhance and champion project management methodology, standards, and procedures for assigned team based on PMO direction
Vendor management around managed services or contractors from third party service providers.
1. Project Leadership (25%):
Provides strategic vision to the program team utilizing expert knowledge of portfolio management and thorough business/technical acumen.
Leads periodic program reviews utilizing expert knowledge of the project delivery process.
Identifies, recommends and implements program management best practices based on expert knowledge of project management.
Provides mentorship, coaching and development for team members and functional leads as appropriate. May directly supervise team members.
2. Project Planning (20%):
Defines program objectives and scope utilizing expert knowledge of project management practices and procedures.
Accountable for development of the Integrated Project Plan for each project within the program.
3. Project Execution(20%):
Leads the execution of programs with high cost and risk.
Utilizes the project management framework to achieve program objectives of delivered on time, on budget and business results are realized for high cost and risk programs.
4. Project Control (15%):
Regularly measures and monitors program progress to identify variances from the plan and make needed corrections for high cost and risk programs.
Coordinates efforts between projects within high cost and risk programs. Monitors and controls interdependencies within the program and address escalated issues among projects within the program.
5. Business Results (15%):
Accountable for delivering the program
Accountable for providing the Program Sponsor and stakeholders with a routine status of the program, actively communicating issues and threats, and ensuring that leadership alignment is a priority.
Works with business to ensure product is successfully implemented and benefits and value are captured for high cost and risk programs.
Ensures successful completion of all projects and closure of all aspects of the program.
Recognize and celebrate success.
Capture lessons learned.
6. Miscellaneous Duties as assigned (5%)
- BA/BS preferably in engineering, business, MIS, or computer science
10 years minimum Program/Project management experience with managing projects/programs with budget of $5-15 million spend.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels within the organization
Strategic thinking/problem solving

Relationship building at all levels and cross-function/platform
Manage the project organization or supervise a team in a global or virtual environment
