Description

Account Manager Associate Position:

The Associate will spend 18–24 months in a structured training program designed to equip the trainee with the skills and knowledge needed to be a successful Account Manager. The Associate will be responsible to meet learning objectives at specific checkpoints during the trainee program. After completing the program, this role will transition into an Account Manager position, and will be responsible for developing and managing several client accounts. This includes all aspects of account selection, discovery of value opportunities, account planning, monitoring the ongoing delivery of products and services, and communications with senior leaders in the client organization. This position also provides collaboration with multiple Cargill Enterprises and Cargill Animal Nutrition's Global Team.

  • Represent Provimi at all times in a professional manner with integrity.

  • Sell appropriate nutritional products and programs to Provimi customers, through cost-effective use of company resources.

  • Develop and implement effective business strategies to grow our business on a profitable basis with current key accounts, and develop new business with prospective targeted accounts.

  • Define customer success measures and score cards to value effectiveness.

  • Continually strive to improve skills necessary to do the job, including but not limited to, improving technical knowledge, selling skills, communications capabilities (written and verbal) and computer skills.

  • Communicate with management and other personnel as necessary, in order to effectively and efficiently sell nutritional products and programs to existing customers and prospective new customer accounts.

Job Locations:

  • Midwest-based in U.S.

  • Travel approximately 50% or less

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science, Agribusiness or related field.

  • Proven leader, self-starter, and strong analytical and conceptual skills.

  • Strong communication skills both with internal and external clients.

  • Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of astudent visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individualsfrom diverse backgrounds and cultures

  • Willing and ableto relocate

  • Ability to contribute, both as part of a team and individually

  • Strong communication skills – written and oral

  • Must be able to complete essential functions of this job as outlined inthe job description with reasonable accommodations

Preferred:

  • Master’s in Nutrition or other relatedstudy
