This position is responsible for assessing risks and controls regarding segregation of duties across Cargill Agricultural Supply Chain North America (CASC NA) by ensuring processes, procedures and controls are adequately designed, implemented and remediated to meet audit and compliance expectations, operating efficiency and business objectives
30% Consulting and Risk Assessment with regards to Segregation of Duties
Constructively engages business partners regarding information on security issues
Effectively communicates the business risk and clearly outlines resolution options.
Actively and professionally engages business partners in conversations that drive and influence good risk decisions
Compose responses to security inquiries from the business, provided in a timely and consistent manner
Provide guidance across several compliance related initiatives to ensure appropriate process, procedures and controls are adequately designed, implemented and/or remediated to meet audit and compliance expectations, operating efficiency goals, and business objectives
Develop relationships with A & F Leaders, IT leaders, and compliance team members to gain consensus approvals on strategies, recommendations, findings and project plans
30% Implementation of Security Controls
Work with Business Application owners to develop/maintain standard security programs across ERP systems to meet corporate control compliance policies and business needs.
Facilitate implementation of security architecture:
Integration of CASCNA business security structure
Ensuring upgrades to applications coincides with existing segregation controls
Implement formal change management processes requiring appropriate approval and segregation of duties for process changes
Develop metrics and goals to successfully meet SLA’s of the business in security setup for onboarding and transferring employees
20% Monitoring of Security Environment
Conduct Security event monitoring
Communicate and escalate issues and security incidents
Facilitate annual logical access reviews
10% Remediation Planning
Document exceptions to policy and/or identified technology risk to confirm risk statement and assess action plan to mitigate risk
Consult, validate & monitor the implementation of remediation activities as result of internal / external audit activities
Provide regular reports on the progress of remediation activities to business leadership
10% Education & Awareness
Understand the company’s technical security policies, the code of business conduct and ethics in order to translate into requirements for technical and non-technical staff
-This position can be based in Wayzata, MN or Winnipeg, MB (Canada)
5 years of business experience
Post-Secondary Education in Finance
3 years demonstrated working knowledge of Risk Management, Information Security, Controls, or Audit practices.
Proven record of high performance in problem solving, collaborating, planning and priority setting, perseverance, and a drive for results.
Agile learning capabilities.
Effective team skills encompassing cross-functional teams, peer relationships, informing, and understanding and appreciating differences.
Solid Communication Skills - encompassing inter-personal communications, persuasion and influencing skills, security communications, using business terminology.
Ability to effectively describe technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated customer focus skills in translating risk management policies into business requirements.
Strong interpersonal skills in terms of effective listening, composure and conflict management.
Demonstrated Change Management Leadership
Ability to travel if needed
