The role is responsible for the execution of marketing communication, including communication planning, internal/external communication execution & support, external customer communication and sales support. The role promotes CCCNA, its products, and unique value proposition to help drive new sales, increase the strength of the CCC brand, and reinforce our expertise within the marketplace.
10%: Communications Planning
- Using general knowledge of marketing and communication tools develops and implements marketing communication and awareness building plans and tactics for CCCNA
35%: Internal communication execution & support
Owns the creation of internal communication strategy and deployment plan
Manages the effective execution of (including leading the planning, coordinating material creation, and ensuring implementation of) key internal communication channels – Quarterly Town Halls, bi-monthly newsletters, Yammer site, customer highlights, intranet site, etc.
Leads and coordinates the efforts of the Communication Network for optimal cross facility engagement
Partners with the broader CCC communication to ensure global alignment of messaging and approach for employee-facing communication efforts
Any other duties as assigned
55%: External Communications execution & support -includes Customer Communication and Public Relations communications
Plans, creates and manages representation for national and regional tradeshows
Collaboration with strategic marketing and sales team to drive brands/products through creation of web, marketing and sales collateral
Partner with the broader CCC communication, media, marketing and branding resources to ensure global alignment and consistency of messaging and approach for externally facing communication efforts
Develops communications to promote CCCNA, its products, and unique value propositions to help drive new sales, respond to RFPs and reinforce our expertise within the marketplace
Executes and implements the material creation for sales support, customer presentations, website, social media and tradeshow events
Responsible for executing overall public relations communication strategy – press release and article development
Manages and coordinates product catalog, marketing/communication material production/storage and logistics (tools like Sharepoint, internal and external websites)
Minimum BA in Marketing, Communications or related field
3 years experience in Marketing or Communication
Strong communication capabilities, verbal and written in food and beverage industry
Demonstrated capability in the development of creative communication and solutions
Demonstrated drive and project management capabilities
Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and resources
Proven experience on how to get things done within a matrix organization
Experience in managing complex projects
Experience in designing and managing processes
Ability to manage change and navigate ambiguity
Proven team player capabilities and experience
Ability to travel 20% of time
Experience working within CPG, confectionary industry and/or key cocoa customers
Experience with cross-functional and multi-cultural teams
