Your Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Cargill MaltAustralia team as a General Hand. Reporting into the Production Manager, youwill be based at Port Adelaide in South Australia and be an integral member ofthe production team, responsible for packaging malt according to Cargill andlegislative requirements for domestic and export deliveries, including accuratedocumentation and maintenance of high hygiene standards.

You will be aself-starter, agile, robust and a resilient team player to be able to problemsolve and thrive in a fast paced working environment. Your ability to grasp abroad range of activities, pay attention to detail while adhering to processesand procedures and work collaboratively in a team environment to driveefficiencies will be key to the success of the role.


Your responsibilitiesinclude, but not limited to:

  • Packmalt for export and domestic customers;

  • PerformAuthorised Officer duties to meet quarantine requirements for export shipments;

  • Set and maintain the highest possible standardsfor hygiene and pest management in designated areas;

  • Rotatethrough other suitable roles as required;


Experience and skills

All about you

Coming from a similarbackground, you will have:

  • AuthorizedOfficer Certification;

  • Process- minded approach to maximize efficiencies in packaging and logistics;

  • Excellentcommunication skills for close collaboration with Production Technicians andliaison with other Production Staff, Maintenance Staff and external serviceproviders;

  • Diligence,attention to detail and commitment to set and maintain the highest possiblehygiene standards and pest management;

  • Strongcommitment to accurate and timely documentation.

  • Flexibilityto fill other roles and perform other tasks as required;

  • Ability to contribute in a team environment through developing positive working relationships that are based on trust and integrity;
