Position Purpose & Summary
This role is key to the compliance ofa center with a focus on operating internal controls and compliance. This focusinvolves working directly with Global Process Owners (GPOs), Cargill Center ofExpertise (COE) teams and local Center teams on ensuring operational controlsare compliant and non-crital financial controls are meeting control objectives.
65%Operational Control Compliance:
1.Work as acompliance lead for Corporate driven requirements.
2.Establish,coordinate and ensure consistency in completing process driven compliancerequirements across the Center. Requirements include, but not limited to:Business Resiliency, RIM, Logical Access, etc.
3.Work with CBSCenter Leadership Team and various Center teams on identifying compliance gapsand taking action to resolve.
4.In alignment withCargill COE teams, develop and/or customize compliance training for CBS Center
30% Financial Control Process:
1.Actively participate in the documentation andreview of financial controls and understand end to end process
Working closelywith GPO and Controls COE
Assist in theidentification, development, and implementation of control processes along withGPO, focus on non-critical financial controls.
2.Lead the testing and evaluation of controlsthrough CBS Internal Control Review process. Ensure identified gaps aredocumented and properly communicated.
3.Ensure timely and accurate action is taken onany identified control gaps (e.g. internal/external audit issues)
4.Develop and/or customize training for CBSCenter, in alignment with Cargill COE teams
1.Trackand ensure completion of required training elements
2.Participatesin the sharing of best practices across CBS Centers
3.Provide feedback to GPO, CBSLeadership team and various Center teams on status of compliance
ØBA/BS degree or professional qualification inAccounting or Finance
ØMinimum of 7 years of accounting/financial experience
ØExperience in documenting internal control design andidentifying control and compliance gaps and inefficiencies
ØAbility to interact with and influence multiple levelsof an organization
ØProven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to achanging environment
ØDemonstrated ability to make sound decisions and takeinitiative
ØStrong analytical and problem solving skills
ØStrong written and verbal communication skills
