Position Purpose-

1.In the delivery of its core processes RTR seeks to ensure: the quality of the data & data model for key aspects of Finance; the design, implementation and measurement of a number of those core processes; the design and delivery of a fit for purposes control framework, including a significant number of key controls; and to develop and provide business insights through advanced data and process analytics. 2.The core purpose of RTR is to drive a top quartile tax, financial accounting, reporting and analysis agenda that delivers the relevant external and internal reporting for Cargill. The RTR team will drive a process agenda (for efficiency) and a connectivity agenda (for effectiveness). The skills and capabilities of the team cover the full range required for a Finance professional. As roles migrate into shared service centers, the RTR team will increasingly be required to drive a change agenda for Cargill Finance which is aimed at improving functional effectiveness through continuous improvement.

3.The RTR Process Analyst roles are an integral part of the Global Process Owner (GPO) organization, they are key team members on the various improvement projects established in the RTR program, responsible for the day to day delivery and execution of process improvements. Each RTR Process Analyst is assigned responsibility for a group of Level 4 RTR processes.

4.This is a Global role and will have influence across the entire RTR organization and its stakeholders. The position plays an active role within the finance community. The Process Analyst is an effective stakeholder manager on all levels of the finance organization.

5.This position should play a leading role in change management, be highly focused on process improvement and will be instrumental in the success of the GPO team.

Principal Accountabilities

55% Delivery of Key RTR Initiatives

  • As a key member of various project teams within the RTR program, the role is responsible for the successful delivery of improvement initiatives within their assigned areas of the RTR process.

  • Partners effectively with project team members from GPO, CBS, PMO, CI and IT, based across multiple locations.

  • Actively shapes solutions to drive process efficiency and increased effectiveness (quality) in line with the targeted benefits.

  • Ensures timely corrective actions and escalations are made as and where required.

  • Participates in, and contributes to, regular sponsor updates. Attends and contributed to the RTR steering committee as and when required

20% Continuous Improvement, Process Standardization and Optimization

  • Identifies opportunities for improvement (across process, data, technology and people) within the RTR area, raising these with the relevant Process Architect who would prioritise these and shape the agenda for future projects and initiatives.

  • Actively benchmarks process and solutions against external best practice to ‘bring the outside in’

  • Supports initiatives and projects led outside the GPO organization (eg. CI, PMO, IT, Tax, Treasury etc) by providing RTR process expertise and to drive alignment with the global RTR agenda.

  • Supports the Process Architect in building business cases for any significant initiatives (those requiring additional investment) to the RTR steering committee for approval.

  • Drives the standardization of RTR processes, reducing waste and variation.

10% Business Partnering, Stakeholder Management, Change Management

  • Supports Process Architect in the management of key internal stakeholders (e.g. CBS Finance Leaders, Regional Controllers, A&F Leads as well as Finance IT.

  • Partner with Global IT to ensure successful delivery of new systems as well as enhancements to current technology.

  • This role will also partner with the Controls COE to ensure the successful design and deployment of financial controls within their respective process areas.

  • Supports Process Architect in ensuring key stakeholders are well engaged and informed of RTR improvement initiatives.

  • Front line delivery of change management for improvements, effectively engaging those impacted by change, providing training and post implementation support.

15% Subject Matter Expert (SME) Support and RTR Process Documentation

  • This role will be actively involved in documenting RTR process for their assigned areas of L4 processes, utilising the defined methodologies and in adherence to the documentation governance policy.

  • The role will be a focal point (SME) for RTR operational teams to provide guidance and expertise in the operation of RTR processes.

  • Ensure process designs take into consideration the upstream and downstream impacts to partners, stakeholders and other major process areas.

  • Ensure adherence to legal and company standards.

Education, Experience, Skills

Required Qualifications

  • 7 relavant Years process and / or accounting operations experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or similar qualification in Accounting or IT.

  • Strong ability to influence others, building credibility with peers and key stakeholders

  • Experience with business process and process improvement methodology, modeling and tools

  • Self-motivated

  • Strong verbal, writing and presentation skills

  • Experience working with matrixed teams without direct supervisory responsibility

  • Experience with either SAP or JDE applications essential

  • Comfortable in a fast paced and changing environment

  • Articulate and effective communication skills with an appreciation for cultural dynamics

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the Record to Report Process

  • Experience in business process architecture role

  • Demonstrable background in SAP Modules particularly FICO

  • Previous project management experience

  • Experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies
