Reports to: Country A&R Lead

This position is responsible for the conversion of records from paper to electronic media in support of Cargill PRTP team. This position is responsible for carrying out a variety of image capture functions, including those related to the receipt, document preparation, scanning, indexing, and re-packaging of information. The candidate will interface with personal computer (PC) applications as well as numerous scanning and indexing applications. He/she must maintain the integrity of the hard copy document as well as digitize them so that they are complete, legible, in order, and otherwise reflective of the hard copy document being scanned.

Major Tasks

Document preparation -50%

  • Match documents and validate them;

  • Flag and escalate errors in the documents and ensure that the accurate documentation has been send for filing;

  • Removing staples, binders, repairing tears and otherwise sorting and filing box records so that they are scanned in order;

  • Suggest process optimization to senior team members and coordinate on their realization.

Scanning-50%

  • Scanning hardcopy files to electronic images into TIF/PDF images, ensuring that the images are OCR'd to be searchable.

  • Assuring the scanned image is complete, clear, and searchable, reporting on scanned volumes, thus ensuring database accuracy;

  • Archival of the scanned documents.

Qualifications

  • Self-motivated with excellent decision making and problem-solving skills;

  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information;

  • Good communication skills;

  • Good organizer;

  • Good English command, preferred.
