The Finished Goods Load Assemblers duties will include:

  • pulling, picking finished goods for orders as per daily shipping report, and assembling the orders, following exact counts of required totes per order. Loads will assembled, scanned and assigned to a pallet ID, 1 pallet ID per pallet, 1 product SKU per pallet.

  • To operate the different types of packaging equipments

  • To perform other duties as required

Principal Accountabilities:

  • The Finished Goods Load Assemblers duties will include pulling, picking finished goods for orders as per daily shipping report, and assembling the orders, following exact counts of required totes per order. Loads will assembled, scanned and assigned to a pallet ID, 1 pallet ID per pallet, 1 product SKU per pallet.

  • Special attention must be paid to ensuring the tote count is correct to the shipping report.

  • A forklift will be used to transport and stack pallets of product, and for product to ne moved onto trailers, or into location. Pallets will wrapped with hand wrap to ensure stability.

  • Must be able to move 40 pound boxes

  • Must be able to pass a Forklift training course and prove forklift skills competence

  • Must follow supervisors instructions and complete the tasks required.

  • Ensure work area and sorroundings are clean and tidy

  • Ensure that boxes labeled precisely with proper products

  • All products being processed must meet customers specifications

  • Ensure the products are running at maximum efficiency so that the cutting lines are running to full capacity

  • Must be able to move 40 pound boxes

  • Must be able to pass a Forklift training course and prove forklift skills competence

  • Remove and take care of the equipment parts and re-install them properly

  • Report any defective equipments to your superiors

  • Be aware of slippery floors, WALK, DO NOT RUSH OR RUN

  • Report injuries immediately

  • It is the responsibility of the employees to follow the food safety rules/procedures, such as GMP’s and HACCP

  • Must maintain good personal hygiene

  • Avoid cross contamination

  • Wash hands for at least 20 seconds after using the washroom

  • Must follow sanitation procedures

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Education or Equivalent

  • Previous experience in production work setting

  • Worked in physically demanding jobs

  • Must pass company medical examination

  • Must pass criminal background check
