Position Purpose & Summary

Ensure BU operation compliance with food industry regulations, analyzes and interprets regulations impacting Food Safety and Quality across the entire supply chain

Principal Accountabilities

30% Ensure BU operation compliance with food industry regulations

25% Responsible for regulation scan from government announcement and internet resource and media, analyze the applicability for compliance in CAPC, Liasion with local governmental (provincial/municipal) agency regarding the regulatory requirements.

15% Work closely with R&D and QA system member to ensure the regulation compliance on processing flow and finished product’s and packaging and system design & implementation.

10% Responsible for providing the regulation training across BU different function

10% Work closely with the CFSQR Regulatory Affairs Team to analyze the regulations which relate to BU operation with involvement in the legislations related to CAP business.

10% Other duties as assigned by leader.

Qualifications

Education, Experience, Skills

Minimum Required Qualifications

Bachelor degree in food science/technology or relevant specialty

Minimum 3 yrs experience in food production discipline

Good command of English

Experience with regulation of food safety quality,

Experience managing through ambiguity

Proven ability to work independently and collaborate closely with others to accomplish work

Strong communication skills, written and verbal

Strong collaboration and influencing skills

Demonstrated ability to anticipate and mediate conflict;

Demonstrated understanding/good relation with local food safety supervision authorities

Preferred Qualifications

Master degree in related majors will be a plus

Knowledge in export food regulations,familiar with the laws and regulations of Korea, Japan, the United States, Europe and other countries

Food safety Program development skill will be an advantage

Prior project experience and team management experience

Ability to develop solutions that all parties feel are equitable

Proven ability to influence at all levels within the organization

Demonstrated effective ability to Teach / Coach others within and outside reporting relationships
