Position Purpose

Supply Planner is responsible for materials requirements planning and production scheduling on a short-mid term horizon contributing to Master Planning fulfillment.

Principal Accountabilities

60% Production Scheduling,1 week horizon

On a weekly basis or under a need of revision:

  • Weekly shiftly production plan preparation: create schedule for new production week, adjust already scheduled weeks if needed;

  • Align on materials/components availability;

  • Check transport means (trucks, rail way wagons, etc) plan of loading, prepared by CSD team, and verify it against production plan;

  • Validate production plan with the plant & communicate to key stakeholders.

On a daily basis (follow-up adjustments if needed):

  • Validation of production & stock levels (actual vs planned);

  • Evaluate changes in demand/customer requests (orders, forecast) – including materials check;

  • Adjust schedule and align on materials supply & finished, semi-finished product where needed;

  • Monitor shiftly production performance vs plan, align with production on reasons of deviation and communicate needed actions to key stakeholders (CSD, logistics, SC planning lead).

30% Materials requirements planning,12 weeks horizon

  • Responsible for the detailed materials plan taking into consideration historical demand data as well as forward forecasts based on MPS to determine the most optimum economical stock levels;

  • Anticipate potential inventory issues like shortages and oversupply. Generate ideas, insights and solutions to prevent or resolve potential problems, followed by decisive action to implement solutions;

  • Identify obsolete, slow moving, unused inventory for eventual disposition;

  • Use effective collaboration skills thru sharing of important business information to all concerned;

  • Collaborate effectively with strategic sourcing on lot size, inventory levels and materials delivery schedule adherence (call offs execution).

10% Systems/Data mangement, reporting & analysis, countinious improvement

  • Process simple and complex supply chain and operational data, and optimization/scenario management models to help analyze demand and production plan for short-mid term outlook in OMP , Excel, etc;

  • Capture KPIs (key performance indicators) in the area of responsibility and implements actions to improve results;

  • Challenge existing ways of working and contribute to planning capabilities improvement in SC, which meets the needs of the business now and in the future;

  • Responsible for various reporting in the area of planning within position scope;

  • Actively join projects & improvement initiatives;

  • Drive own initiatives;

  • Analyse and report-out on schedule efficiency, look for improvements and how to implement them in daily scheduling activities;

  • Follow-up with teamlead on stock-outs & shipment plan violation that are schedule –related and how to avoid them, define corrective actions.


Required Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of Supply chain operations;

  • 3 years of experience in Supply Planning;

  • Very good understanding of production processes and inter-dependencies;

  • University degree;

  • Work in a large (matrix) organization;

  • Work in multinational/-cultural environment;

  • Good understanding of tools & systems supporting SC process;

  • PC literate;

  • Numerate;

  • Good communication skills (frequent interaction with different functions/levels);

  • Good analytical skills;

  • Hands-on problem solver;

  • Self starter, initiative taking;

  • Process & task oriented;

  • Ability to perform under time pressure;

  • English lanquage IELTS 4.

Preferred Qualifications

  • University degree in Logistics & Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Materials Science;

  • 5 years experience in Operations or Supply Chain;

  • 1 years experience in agri/foods business to business environment;

  • English lanquage IELTS 6.
