Travel: up to 30%.

Cargill Agricultural Supply Chain (CASC) is deploying an ambitious digital strategy that will transform the way we operate.

To focus and direct the strategy and its execution, several digital domains have been identified across the CASC global value chain

This position will have the responsibility of deploying in EMEA the global strategies related to each digital domain in alignment with the CASC EMEA Business Strategy, ensuring regional coherency, aligning resources required for execution, prioritizing portfolio project ensuring alignment across businesses and leading execution.

Major tasks:

30% Strategy Planning and Execution

  • Lead the deployment in EMEA of the CASC’s global digital strategy across digital domain segments, aligned with business lines and functions;

  • Build the CASC EMEA Digital Strategy / Roadmap in support of the Global strategy across the digital domains;

  • Operate as part of the CASC Global Digital Team to deploy best practices for strategy, analysis of opportunities, including communication with senior stakeholders;

  • Drive deep understanding of digital business interactions with farmers / customer, suppliers and share those systematically with broader CASC/Cargill teams;

  • Advise and provide consultation to strategic stakeholders where required.

50% Portfolio – Project Management and Integration

  • Lead the EMEA Digital Steering Committee and represent EMEA in the Digital Economy leadership team where appropriate;

  • Build and manage the CASC EMEA Digital portfolio and its governance;

  • Closely monitor the CASC Enterprise Digital roadmaps and projects across the digital domains, as well as the other Regional Portfolios to ensure close coordination and leveraging within CASC EMEA;

  • Provide CASC Enterprise Digital Economy lead with CASC EMEA inputs and initiatives to ensure alignment.

20% Leadership

  • Provide thought leadership to re-invent CASC EMEA processes and digital interactions, and work with the Business / Functional Leads and Business Process Owners to lead the transformation

  • Lead the CASC’s EMEA Digital Economy strategy, improve focus areas, identify metrics to measure progress and define success;

  • Promote collaboration across multiple stakeholder groups across enterprises and region;

  • Lead the cultural change.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree (MBA) in Business or Technology;

  • 5 years with a proven track record in developing and implementing complex international business transformation strategies;

  • 2 years in defining / deploying international Digital strategies internally and externally;

  • 2 years’ experience in technology, data or related fields;

  • Experience and success working in a large, complex, geographically distributed organization;

  • Good understanding of agricultural supply chain businesses;

  • Demonstrated ability to balance local focus, speed and agility against a broad global view Demonstrated leadership skills; ability to influence a diverse group of global senior stakeholders;

  • Experience with the definition and decision-making for a portfolio of projects from idea through to implementation and business integration.
