Position Purpose & Summary:
This position enables the CAN MEA Ruminant business growth agenda on species products, concepts and services as part of the overall portfolio that is being offered to our key customers. The person in this role is responsible to create strong connection with our regional key customers, continuously improve technical skills of our team and successfully implement new concepts.
80% Technology Deployment
Following our customer segmentation visiting key customers in close cooperation with the KAM and local technical application specialists team (TAS) to implement technology and support.
Responsible for different knowledge contracts with key account within MEA
Lead the systematic roll out of new product, concept or service launches (NPSS) according the launch plans for the key customers in close cooperation with the MEA organization.
Gathering competitor and market information that is relevant to keep us ahead of the market in technology and provide feedback on that to the MEA organization.
Roll out training & best practice sharing in the region to make sure all relevant team members have the necessary knowledge to successfully position our species portfolio
As a benchmark we would like this role to spend around 80% of the time customer focused, whether this is side by side working with KAM and local TAS or giving support or training on distance and deploying our technology at key customers.
20% Technology development and SMT connect
Understanding key customer needs, translating them into services and technology development opportunities and provide this input to the MEA SMT Species team
Is involved in a content driven role within MEA SMT projects if relevant, should have an active role in best practice sharing within MEA region by interacting with his/her peers and the MEA Species platform.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Master degree in Ruminant Nutrition or related studies
Strong analytical and conceptual skills
Extensive practical on farm experience in ruminants
Good knowledge about feed production and feed processing
Good knowledge of feed formulation and formulation software
Good skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), intra & internet applications, and others
Effective team player and shares knowledge willingly
Good presentation and training skills
International travel >60 %
Fluent in English
Ph.D. in Ruminant Nutrition or related studies
Extensive experience in feed production and processing technology
More than 10 years demonstrated expertise in ruminant nutrition and large farm management.
