Position Purpose & Summary

Lead QC Department Redon (chemical) – ensures Cargill quality standards are met. Trains Lab Technicians and reports on results. Lead customer management – ensures development of customer management; shapes Redon’s food safety culture

Key member of the FSQR team.

Principal Accountabilities

40% Team management

  • Participate in the selection of Lab Technicians

  • Provide training and re-training of employees

  • Performance management – KPIs, end year reviews, PM talks

  • On a monthly basis - Input & report on budget

  • Execute contaminant monitoring organization and ensure samples are send.

  • Monthly reporting on KPIs for QC

10% Organize GLP (Good laboratory practices) system and SOP's.

5% Execute ring tests – coordinate with the other locations on an yearly basis. Implementation of corrective actions when needed.

10% Release of raw materials & product & equipments & maintenance & packaging & method & equipment validation Stability testing. Coordinate with each respective department.

20% Support Customer Quality Management by being the point of contact for related questions

10% ISO documentation and substation FSQR manager in case of absence

5% Safety related activities and training.


Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in food chemistry or other applicable field (chemistry/rheology analysis)

  • Minimum 3 year of experience including team management

  • Used to participate / lead continuous improvement activities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in science, quality assurance or other applicable field

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with team management

  • Green belt certification

  • Responsibility and decision-making

  • Assistance and flexibility

  • Safety behavior with regard to persons, environment and product quality
