Position Purpose :

This position is needed to further expand the commercial footprint of CSST India. The person needs to…

  • Lead Sales & Business Development activities for Food & pharma markets in India

  • Liase / coordinate with the Tech Services Manager for potential New Business development

  • Manage & grow the Key Accounts across West & Central India

  • Develop sales strategy for Business and uncovering new opportunities that match with our technology, products & vision for West & Central India

Principal Accountabilities :

  • Manage CSST India’s Key Accounts business across West & Central India

  • Responsible for payment follow-ups and coordination as per the financial policies

  • Continuous review of Business unit strategy and product & portfolio roadmap. Reprioritize as necessary based on changes in market conditions and/or strategy

  • Keep overview and report all commercial aspects such as total market / market share /price development /competition /product availability

  • Generate new ideas that are likely to create value for customers by meeting a specified or perceived need and verify market viability of internally generated ideas with in marketing/sales

  • Develop business cases for technical development of product platforms/applications – develop concepts and value proposition to optimize cost in use

  • Support Tech. Services Manager in conceptualizing and conducting innovation workshops at customer R&D locations to trigger new projects

  • Competition tracking for New Products etc

Qualifications

Essential Requirements :

The role involves very close working with Customers, Tech Services, Manufacturing sites and Cargill’s global SMEs. Extensive travel across country.

Education :

Graduate/PG in Science, Food Technology, MBA or a combination.

Experience :

Minimum 10 Years in Starches & sweetener Industry or Food Ingredient or Flavours or Food Processing Industry or a combination.

Skills :

  • Strategic thinking and problem solving skills.

  • Good written and spoken communication skills and fluency in English.

  • Excellent people skills & capability to play as a significant contributor in diversified teams.

  • Ability to work independently, to work effectively across functional lines, to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, to make consequential decisions that brings projects, investigations, and other activities to closure.

  • Maturity to deal with start-up issues.

  • Indepth knowledge of Products, Processes related to Food Industry, Food Ingredients

  • Coordination Skills

  • Presentation Skills
