Position Overview:

The Security Integration Advisor acts as the enterprise security technology subject matter expert and manages the alignment and integration of the technology strategy and implementation with the Cargill integration team.

This position must do so in support with the Enterprise IT strategy, the Technology Governance Risk and Control strategy, the Global Infrastructure IT strategy, Regional needs, Business needs, and cross-functional requirements.

Candidates for this position are expected to be experts in the business partnering space with extensive and deep knowledge to independently conduct more complex activities such as: security and risk analysis for potential breach of brand, intellectual property, contract, and broader Cargill. This job requires a highly skilled subject matter expert who can partner effectively with all levels of the organization, provide strategic thought leadership, lead and mentor others, drive results, and provide process expertise. Thus, allowing them to monitor and manage the consistency of technology provisioning.

We are looking for subject matter experts in either Tanium, focused around endpoint security and breach remediation and response or Continuous Compliance Monitoring (CCM), focused in establishing configuration guidelines and measuring compliance as associated to the CCM program efforts.

This position can work virtually with the team either working from a Cargill office within your home location or virtual/remote from a home office.

Principal Accountabilities:

40% - Process & Solution Design:

  • Contributes and participates in the adoption of the enterprise security technology strategy and the deployment of the business and enterprise strategic requirements.

  • Responsible for managing the technology strategy in support of the overall Business/Function strategies in alignment with the MADJV playbook.

  • Using an extensive understanding of business, enterprise, and MADJV integration requirements, monitor and manage the effectiveness of the risk exposure.

  • Create strategic solution designs across process, data, and technology that meet business & enterprise requirements.

  • Lead business process design efforts.

  • Understand Business Unit (BU) Strategy and translate into requirements, ensuring that they are supported by the Tower technology strategy.

30% - Relationship Management:

  • Serves as a primary point of contact for assessment and direction of the enterprise security technology strategy as it pertains to secure configurations.

  • Utilizes deep knowledge in building and maintaining a sustainable business relationship with a variety of stakeholders.

  • Partners with BU/Function Leadership members to proactively identify opportunities for security effectiveness.

  • Ensures strategy integration across Towers/BU’s/Functions.

  • Acts as strategic advisor to BU’s/Functions to assist in the successful introduction of new secure integrations and dis-entanglements of existing.

  • Advice and counsel senior leaders on solution options while ensuring cohesion with the Enterprise IT strategy, the Global Infrastructure IT strategy, Regional needs, Business needs, and cross-functional requirements

20% - Analysis & Requirements Gathering:

  • Provide strategic analysis of business requirements; identifying linkages and opportunities across the enterprise.

  • Proactively identify, assess and prioritize Business Unit/Function needs, clearly eliciting, translating, and documenting business, functional and non-functional requirements and apply expert analysis to deploy a secure integration to protect the value of the “asset” and the Cargill enterprise.

  • Effectively facilitate discussions with stakeholders and leaders to drive out clear business requirements for complex, unclear, or large-scale business problems.

  • Ensure integration of the Enterprise IT strategy, the Global Infrastructure IT strategy, Regional needs, Business needs, and cross-functional requirements for all Tower technology solutions defined.

10% - Other:

  • Provides strategic expertise to the work plan, schedule, budget, and required personnel for complex solutions.

  • Change agent and collaboration leader that enables delivery across a global team.

  • Lead complex change management efforts

  • Coaching, mentoring, and training

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Business-Related field or equivalent work experience

  • 10 years of IT and business/industry work experience

  • 4 years of strategy experience in any technology areas (Risk and Controls, Security Management, Global Networks, Global Data Center, Global Service Desk, End User Computing, and Field Services)

  • Experience leading complex projects

  • Knowledge of Infrastructure technologies and business applications, and their relationships

Success Attributes:

  • Proven record of interacting with multiple business units and functional teams

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate technical and business information effectively to both technical and non-technical people

  • Complex integration and divestiture projects

  • Established skills in identifying and developing strategies to address change management issues

  • Established subject matter expert in several business process areas.

  • Strong skills in influencing others with the ability to facilitate cross-functional teams

  • Ability to accomplish results through others (lower level managers, professional employees, matrixed organization, managed service provider)

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Proven conflict resolution skills

  • Strong problem solving/decision-making skills

  • Business fluency in English

  • Ability to travel globally and regionally up to 10-15%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Subject matter expert in one or more of the following: end user computing, server, database, network infrastructure (fw, router, switch, dns).

  • Broad knowledge across multiple security solutions, risk, and threats

  • Knowledge of and experience with Change Management

  • Experience with multiple IT Infrastructure technologies

  • Experience with Project Management Methodologies

  • Work experience in multiple countries

  • Non-English language skills

  • Experience with complex data protection strategies and solutions

  • Experience with governance structures and implementation of vulnerability/security assessment models

  • Hands on experience using endpoint tools such as Tanium, McAfee, Symantec, Cylance, etc
