The Key account manager is accountable for building customer relationship and insight with the more complex customers in Turkey region. Commercial accountability includes reaching margin & volume targets by delivering value propositions, and gaining industry knowledge and translating this back into the wider commercial organization. Sales execution starts at pre- contracting phase and end with payment of the invoice.
40% DEEP CUSTOMER INSIGTH & RELATIONSHIP
Built insight & intimate relationship through customer visits.
Integrate insight in visit reports, customer account plan, CRM system and feed commercial organization with relevant information.
Identify demand and integrate knowledge in specific region and/or market.
20% ACHIEVING COMMERCIAL GROWTH TARGETS
Plan for continuous growth. Set budget together with the Team Lead Key Accounts.
Achieve margin and volume targets.
Plan and execute innovation based growth.
30% SALES EXECUTION & CONTRACT EXCELLENCE
Accountable for managing all steps in sales effectiveness process. Starting with pre- contracting discussion on terms & conditions, negotiate and conclude a sale, contract entry, until execution and payment of the contract. Appropriately involve Sales Support and other support functions during the process.
Manage credit and counterparty risk management.
10% OTHER – Meetings, etc.
University degree at administrative sciences, food/chemical engineering and relative
Min 5 years of commercial experience, with successful history
Good track record of Account Management
Good track record of Distributor management
Result oriented personality and ability to work under sales target pressure
Self-Starter with Initiative and Drive
Proof of strong and effective communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) and active listening to the customers
Strong negotiation, influencing and persuasive skills
Strategy formation and execution
