Description

This full-time position is located in Lititz, Pennsylvania. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Some of the tasks include:

Safety

Be aware of and comply with general Cargill Cocoa & Chocolate safety policy and rules specific to work area

Look for and report unsafe situations/work practices

Sanitation

Maintain work area, equipment and tools in a clean and sanitary condition per

Clean as directed by Department Supervisor following checklist

Quality

Correct bin selection for materials to be blown

Product Packing / Lot and Code Number / Pallet Tag Procedure

Raw Material Handling & Documentation

Dry Transfer Room Consumption Worksheet

Complete and submit documentation completely, accurately, and in a timely fashion

Production

Transfer materials to our process via the pneumatic conveyor system

Record all lot numbers of materials used

Submit documentation completely, accurately, and in a timely fashion

Inform department supervisors when supplies are needed

Help in the taking of inventory

Monitor and service equipment as instructed

Set valves/lines for products and ingredients

Pump product to tanks

Load/unload tankers

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer.

  • Cargill requires that employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production plant

  • Must be able to perform physical job duties including bending/stooping, climbing ladders, open/close valves, shoveling, and pounding with hammer

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 55 pounds

  • Must be able to work under special work conditions, such as extreme heat or cold.

  • Ability to work in elevated areas

  • Able to operate machinery

  • Must be able to read/write English

  • High School diploma or Equivalent

  • Basic computer skills

  • Ability to work overtime

  • Ability to work holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts

Preferred qualifications:

  • Work in confined spaces

  • Forklift certified

  • At least 1 year of experience in production related work
