Position Purpose

The Customer Account Coordinator is responsible for processing customer orders, scheduling deliveries, coordinating with production & sales teams, and communicating with customers.

Customer Account Coordinators (CAC’s) are also involved in the peripheral activities associated with these core responsibilities, along with operating a customer focused business. The foundation of this is building solid and trusting relationships with our customers and internal teams.

CAC’s provide a key role to our business. They perform a variety of customer facing activities, including:

  • Logistical processing of customer orders, including coordination with sales, production, warehouses and transportation.

  • Working closely with other departments, such as sales and production, to resolve internal complications that impact our customers.

  • Providing proactive communication with customers via telephone, email, and a SMS Texting Solution.

  • Resolving escalated or difficult issues regarding customer complaints and other matters.

Principal Accountabilities

  • 45% Process incoming orders: Logistical processing of customer orders, including coordination with sales, production, warehouses and transportation.

  • 30% Ongoing communication with Customers, Operations, and Sales & Marketing: Working closely with other departments, such as sales and production, to resolve internal complications that impact our customers. Providing proactive communication with customers via telephone, email, and a SMS Texting Solution.

  • 15% Other office duties as delegated by office management.

  • 10% Receive and process customer complaints: Resolving escalated or difficult issues regarding customer complaints and other matters.

Qualifications

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.

  • 2 years of Customer Service experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AS400/SAP experience.

  • Prior experience with the agriculture industry.

  • Bachelor’s degree.
