Position Purpose & Summary

Responsible for managing and coordinating procurement work processes for one or more sourcing categories and/or locations, including executing procurement transaction processes and managing inventory/procurement records, providing location procurement support and planning, managing supplier events and relationships, and implementing sourcing strategies.

Principal Accountabilities

40% PR/PO processing and related issue handling

  • Daily PR receiving, clarification, assignment;

  • Daily PO issuing, confirmation and followup, track on time delivery of goods/services;

  • Act as contact window to communicate info between users, buyer and vendors;

  • Handle and solve issues as needed;

30% payment and invoice issue handling

  • Submit payment request to ensure on-time payment;

  • Receive 3-way mismatch information from finance to follow and solve mismatch issues;

  • Follow open GR(goods receipt without invoice) with invoices or clear the records with writeoff;

20% Record maintaining and Data management

  • Regularly maintain tracking form to keep a realtime record of PRTP transactions;

  • Archive PR/PO related documents including quotation, emails and confirmed POs, etc with a timely work pace;

  • Regularly clean system data including open PR and PO;

10% User support

  • Respond to user requiry to purchasing progress, issues and other questions, take actions as needed to follow the case to close;

  • Act as a super user of system, to provide data to related parties as needed, and trainings and system support to new users irregularly

Qualifications

Education, Experience, Skills

Required Qualifications

  • College or above

  • 0-2 years professional experience

  • Effective inter-personal and communication skills in deailing with all levels and departments within the company

  • Must be detail oriented, strong organizational and time management skills to work in a fast paced environment.

  • Good computer skills including Windows (Excel , Outlook ,Powerpoint)

  • Customer service skills and orientation

  • Basic English skills in written, reading.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working experience in supply chain, procurement, or related function/position]

  • Experience with SAP, Maximo, Ariba or other ERP Systems

  • Basic undetsanding of procurement requirements and standards

  • Fluent oral and written English

Retail related knowledge

Exposure to plant operations, business environment, strategic sourcing, and systems/processes. Careers in higher level buyer positions within the Procurement Organization, or Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, Logistics positions
