Description

Position Purpose:

The Customer Account Coordinator is responsible for processing customer orders, scheduling deliveries, monitoring production concerns and communicating with customers. Works with customers, production and marketing to timely respond to and resolve customer complaints.

Customer Account Coordinators (CAC) are also involved in the peripheral activities associated with these core activities and operating a customer focused business.

CACs provide a key role to our business. They perform a variety of customer facing activities, including:

  • Logistical processing of customer orders, including coordination with vendors, sales, customer service representatives, billing representatives, warehouses and shippers.

  • Resolving escalated or difficult issues regarding client complaints and other matters.

  • Working closely with other departments, such as sales and production, to resolve issues on client service.

  • Providing proactive communication with customers and clients via telephone, email, or regular mail.

Principal Accountabilities:

30% - Process incoming orders

25% - Ongoing communication with customers

15% - Schedule delivery of orders with transportation companies

15% - Receive and process custsomer complaints

10% - Other office duties as delegated by office management

5% - Monitor switchboard for incoming calls

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • 2 or more years of Customer Service experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel

Additional Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills: written and verbal English (customer facing)

  • Ability to multitask

P referred qualifications:

  • AS400 / SAP experience

  • Prior experience with the agriculture industry, and/or freight coordination

  • Bachelor’s degree
