We have anexciting opportunity for you to join our Cargill Agriculture Supply Chain teamas the Accumulation Manager (AM), based in Perth, Western Victoria. Reportinginto a Territory Manager, WA,you willbe accountable forgrain origination activities fromgrower customers across WA to meet business margin and volume requirements. TheAM will be responsible for maintaining relationships with market participantsand intermediaries across WA on behalf of the business and will be accountablefor reporting market intelligence and grower insights to the relevantstakeholders. The role will be required to work collaboratively within the WAteam to assist in maximising overall business outcomes in the region.
Your responsibilities include, but are notlimited to:
Primaryaccountability for origination of commodities from grower customers in the WAmarket. This will involve a primary focus on margin generated throughmerchandising activities, whilst seeking to meet overall volume targets;
Buildingand maintaining strong relationships with grower customers and achieve targets;
Managingrelationships with market participants and targeted Brokers and Consultants onbehalf of the business in WA, as the foundation for maximizing market liquidityfor AWB and enhancing market insights;
Maintainingand sharing detailed market intelligence and grower insights to the relevantstakeholders;
Workingcollaboratively in the team and actively participate in planning and executionof the regional strategy;
To besuccessful in this role, you will have:
Tertiaryqualifications or equivalent experience;
Minimum2 years’ experience in the grain industry or related sales and marketingpositions;
Abilityto work effectively and collaborate within a team;
Strongcommunication and listening skills;
Provenanalytical and problem solving skills;
Excellentinterpersonal and organisation skills;
Abilityto influence decision-making;
Provenability to develop long term relationships;
Abilityto work independently, self-motivated;
Abilityto understand grain flows and ability to capture opportunities the marketpresents;
Abilityto travel extensively to the farms, internal and external events as required;
